I just got a call from that same number. The man was stating he is in the NRA and wanted to speak to one of my family members. He was extremely rude and hung up while I was trying to ask him to not call again. He called over 4 times and today would make it the "5th" time. I contacted the NRA directly to see if this is a scam. So far, I got nothing. I got this information off of google search. The number is a landline number, belonging to a house on the street of Ohio, Girard 44420. This could be a scammer who obviously has no idea how to hide. "Cause I'm gonna find this dude"

We've received several calls from this number.  They hang up before leaving a message.

He has called several times, didn't answer, called Saturday when I was waiting for a call and I didn't check caller I.D. before I answered, asked for my husband by name, told him he wasn't here, was very polite and thanked me for talking to him, all I said was he wasn't here.  He called back today at 12:15 we didn't answer, he left no message.

This # called, left no message. When I called the # back, I got a recording stating it was the National Rifle Assoc., they had called with recent information, they'd try calling me again, press 1 for more info. I pressed 1 and had the option to remove my # from their call list (takes 30 days).

The NRA's purpose is to exploit the fears of the gullible, thereby increasing gun sales.

They called. Didn't answer. No message. Lizzie is clueless and makes uninformed statements. The second amendment would have already been decimated if not for the NRA.

Unknown caller. Calls repeatedly. Never leaves messages. Very rude. Doesn't give you a chance to ask to be removed from their call list.

He has called our home # constantly...very abrupt, rude at times, never will he give any info on why he is calling. I just called the # back & it is NRA & a recording says if you wish to be removed from future calls give your 10 digit phone number. It takes as long as 30 days! I'll see if this works!  :)

Repeatedly calls my business. Hang ups and timed out messages on answering machine.

When  you live in a country with so many guns, why do we need gun lobbyist???? There are more armed citizens in this country than there are armed officers, soldiers, etc. It would be another civil war if they tried to take our guns. It's not going to happen.

Why give fear mongers your hard earned money. Gun owners nor law enforcement are going to go to war. Treat your guns and law enforcement with respect. There is no reason why we should live in fear. It's beyond ridiculous!

That post was made in January of 2016, a year and a half ago.  I doubt he actually found anyone since numbers can be easily spoofed, and I am sure his search of the internet brought up lots of wrong information.

My number is on the Do Not Call registry but I regularly get calls like this one, where the caller does not leave a message and hangs up after five or six rings.

My wife works for a telemarketing company that does calls for the NRA, They try to get people to join or renew memberships. She works out of the company's call center and the calls may be monitored by management. The only reason the guy was rude is because he's an ass. He works from home on his home phone and linked to the company via the internet and his phone through the call center's phone service provider.. On another note, scammers can make calls through another service that can fake caller name and phone numbers on your caller ID

That post was made over a year and a half ago as clearly indicated by the date under the name.  Further, how would you know who it was?  Also, why doesn't your wife get an honest job instead of annoying people who don't want to be called?
