calls 5 to 6 times a day for the past 2 weeks. never leaces a message

Has called 5-6 times daily for the last two weeks. Never leaves a message. I finally answered one, and a male caller asked for my son (by the wrong surname) who, as it happens, is away at college. I informed the caller that I would NOT provide his cell number, but I would be happy to pass a message along if he'd like to leave a number. He replied that it was a "personal business call".  I asked for his name, and when he did not immediately provide it, I told him I would provide his caller ID information to the police and the Better Business Bureau, and hung up. The calls have not stopped, nor have I answered again.

same as many above--for WEEKS this number has been on my cell caller ID. no one there when answered

Same as everyone else...calls home at least twice a day...never leaves a message.  Also calls my cell phone...never leaves a message there either.

Same as everyone else.  They call my WORK phone about 2 times a day.  They never leave a message.

I'm of the mindset that if someone calls me and does not leave a message, then it was not important, and I will not call them back. If this is some kind of collection company, then to me, that is something important.  They are either looking for money, or asking about a payment plan or whatever.  That's important, and they should leave a message about it.

Is it not bad business to try to contact someone , and not leave a message for you to contact them back? If they are looking for money, and don't leave a message, how would I know that something is wrong?

Been getting upwards of 15 to 20 calls per day, some from different extensions. I had read somewhere that it was Ameriquest, so I finally answered this morning (I do not answer if I don't recognize the number). I was JCPenney collections wanting a payment arrangement. Hope this helps.

I have never claimed to be the proverbial “smartest tool” in the shed but it strikes me as odd to find a company would call a customer, sometimes 15 to 20 times a day and just hang up.  Do they really think they will annoy people into taking action?  I still do not know what the calls are for; I have gathered it is GE Money from others in this forum.  I just would really like to know what brain child came up with this annoyance tactic and how much he or she is getting paid.  Maybe GE Money could take their wages and pay whatever debt they feel others have with them that give them the right to be so annoying.

Get calls at least 5-6 times a day at WORK, and 3 to 4 times a day on my cell phone.  No message has ever been left.  I am about to ask my company to block the number, as I have no idea who it is.  And I don't have an account with JCPenney.

ID says GE Money

We're getting several phone calls from this number. They never leave any message on voice mail. On one occassion the caller claimed to be someone by the name of "Ben".
