When I pickup it says "I'm sorry thats not a valid extention"  without doing anything! Sounds like a telemarketer to me.

"we have been monitoring your credit card expenses and you qualify for BLAH BLAH BLAH"

credit card scam.

Just called. No voicemail.

Called just now. Now voicemail. Looked up the number and saw the name of Kathleen Hughes in Lordstown Ohio, who has this number.

Just called my cell, when I picked up it was the "we have been monitoring your credit card expenses..." recorded message.

Called just now no answer and they did not leave a voicemail.

Just got the same...call and I declined it to voicemail but they did not leave a message. Assuming telemarketer.

just got two calls.  credit company.  got to a live person and asked to be taken off their list.  got hung up on.  called back 5 minutes later.

Received a call from the number asking me for my credit card information. I told them to remove me from the calling list. She said she would not do that and hung up on me.

When answered, a recording immediately stated "I'm sorry, that is not a valid extension"...

Called about lower rates for credit. They call regularly and refuse to take off of their calling when I ask. They keep calling even though I've communicated I don't have any debt. They always hang up after I give number and ask to be removed from their list, but they always continue to call back.

They will never remove your number from their calling list because they are CRIMINALS. They are identity thieves phishing for credit card & social security numbers. You're better off to just not answer, or hang up as soon as you hear the recording start. BTW, robo-dialing for sales purposes is against federal law, even if your number isn't on the DNC registry, unless you gave them specific (ie, written permission) to contact you with a robo-dialer.

Telemarketers don't even exist anymore. All these calls are scams! It's funny when people say take me off the list, or I'm on the do not call list. These things don't matter because they are scammers!

Have gotten a large increase in spam calls the last few months, and just never answer if it is unknown caller. Am sick of it so started answering to be removed from call list. One rep last week said she would remove me from call list, and calls seems to have actually decreased. Got another one today from 330-883-4531. Was a recording and I pressed 9 to speak to rep. Asked rep if they had a do not call list and he said no, but that he could hang up on me, and did so. Probably get more calls now.

Card services, they hung up on me when I told them I had $40,000 in CC debt in Transgender Genital reconstruction surgery

"I'm sorry, but that is not a valid extension" is the message I got when I answered.  I probably just screwed up by answering the phone and confirming my number is a working number.  DON'T ANSWER!
