This person called saying aunt to my mom but not identifying himself then asking for uncle Florencio (my dad name of owner of ph number) spoke in spanish

They called my mother in laws to ask if she knew the family mendoza which the number is under my name.. he also didn't want to identify himself n spoke Spanish. .this is suspicious!!!

Received a phone call saying they were from my family (with my last name). Would not say who it was, but, kept wanting me to guess who it was. Asking who of my family was the furthest apart. Guess they wanted me to name them off and then claim he was one of them. I didn't want to play that guessing game so he hung up on me. Good riddance.

this person just called my dad saying he was a family member coming to visit and made him guess who he was, and took on the persona of the first name my dad guessed, and my dad gave him his cell numbers. anyways i know its a scam, i read that they call later and ask for money cuz of an accident, did anyone get a follow up call? or any further disturbances by this person?
he also spoke spanish, so yea

Yeah he called my little brother and said he was a family member and but didn't want to say who he was, instead he kept making him guess, after that he asked him if he was all alone.  I read all the reports before me and are very similar . This person should get put to a stop.

This man called calling me his aunt in Spanish. They he ask if we were the Ibarra family But he didn't want to identified himself. He just kept asking me if I didn'[t recognized his name. He finally hung up.

This person in Spanish called saying that is from my relative saying my moms last name. My mom. Knows everyone of her family. This is not the first time they called saying that. We are prepared for harassers callers. We don't answer unknown calls or strange numbers. Never give your information or names. Always hang up on them!

This person did the same as mentioned in all the comments above. But unfortunately my mom gave this guy my cell number and our address. He called the following day, by this time I had already verified that he wasn't said coin and confronted him and he just hung up. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS LOSER, DON'T GIVE ANYTHING JUST HANG UP!! THIS HAPPENED IN HOUSTON, TEXAS.

This bilingual guy called saying he was family and that he was coming from out of town to visit my brother (knew his name) and was going to surprise him and when I told him he was not here he said he'd call back. When he called back he told me he was in an accident and if I would go to Walmart and transfer money to him and literally had another man speak to me about how his daughter in the car accident was not hurt but was going to take her to a doctor to make sure she was fine leaving my relative with out money to make into Houston, Tx . Wow how low will they go to scamming people. Hang up and report them!

Just got a call from this guy saying he was a family member but wouldn't say which one. He asked me to tell him which family member was outside of Houston and when I mentioned a name he agreed. He asked if I was going to be home tomorrow because he wanted to come by for a visit. I asked what time and I said I would be. I figured he was wanting to make sure no one would be home so he could rob my house. He also asked me if I had cell phone number he could call me on tomorrow. I'm calling our neighborhood watch to keep a look out for a suspicious vehicle around my house tomorrow. I'll be here but that's spooky.

Got a call from this number 331-079-9402. Same as above; I am a cousin and said I am passing through the state. Who is the tallest in the family? Would not give me his name until I come up with one of my cousins names and then he agreed. Spanish speaking only. Same story, I backed up in to some one and I need 300.00 dollars to pay the other person off. I have no insurance. I then looked up this number and seen these other posts. Do not give any information out, just hang up.            I was able to get the supposed person that was hit; Pedro Gabriel Castillo Briones Calle Pino #1732 Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico 44900. Be Aware of this scam...........
