Call back gets "Your call is very important to us, please hold for the next available agent."  Waited about 1 minute, got heavily Indian accented man saying something I couldn't understand, then there was a pause, a beep, and a different heavily accented voice said, "Credit 1 Bank, how may I help you."  I hung up and tried again, same thing.  Here are some reviews on this bank.

If you are a customer of this bank it would be wise to call the number on your bank card or statement rather than give any information to these people.

So you knew who this number belongs to but decided to look it up anyway? What, did you think "I bet lots of people will wonder who calls from this number so I better go to a complaint site and let them know"?

Why don't creditors leave a message so you know who they are and you CAN call back.  This is ESPECIALLY important in today's scam ridden world.  I am inundated daily with scam calls.  I have changed my number numerous times and eventually I get the calls again.  Do I need a better mortgage rate?  Am I interested in selling my home?  We see you are in need of health insurance.  BLAH BLAH.....I don't even own a home.  Now if it is a legitimate company with a legitimate call, I expect that they will leave a message or I will not be calling them back.

Back in the day we knew that if we wanted action we could send a letter telling the company exactly what the problem was.  Not surprisingly, that still works today, unfortunately most people don't know how to write a letter.  However if you do and send it then it should be sent certified, return receipt.  Provides several things.  First if they have to sign for it they know it is important (or at least should anyway).  Second it gives you proof in case they don't stop calling so you can now sue them in court.
