This is a new Chicago scammer number! This area code is already installed on my CPR blocker. Why would an entire city call anyone except as another Chicago area scam. I expect additional posts describing the scam they are using. May they rot in Hades!

Automated caller pretending to be live person soliciting for police charity. Bock.

Just received call from this #. ILLINOIS CALL. No message left.

Just received call from 331-212-8091 stating with IL police and looking for donations and would not take no he said it would help disabled officers I had to just hang up geez

All uninvited callers are criminals. Trespassing on private property.

Claiming to be police seeking donations.  FOP when campaigning DOES NOT come up as ILLINOIS CALL so ignore this scam!

1st call from this number since i have been tracking. Blocked on cell and Home.

Blocked as soon as I saw "Unknown Name"

Just got a call from this number on my home phone. Came up Unknown Caller so I didn't answer no message left.

Just got a call from this number at 7:45 p.m. on a Sunday night.  Is there no time of peace from these people?  I don't answer calls from numbers I do not know.

After checking my VoIP CDR records for this call I'd go with a SCAM call.  One Call to ring the phone while a second call then goes direct to voice mail.    Pure Dialing For Dollars tactic.

First of all upon answering the call, a male voice said hello, I responded with hello, he then hung up. I went ahead and pushed *69 on my phone, well worth the charge, got the above phone number.  I immediately called it back, he identified himself as JOEL COLLINS. I asked what organization this was, he replied; IL ASSOCIATION OF CHIEFS OF POLICE. I said DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN, I AM ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. I DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING HUNG UP ON. That was the end of the call.

Call from same number. Call when to answering service guy said hello and hung up. Bet it's a scam no time for it.

Caller ID said Pain Mgmt. Blocked.
