called home and claimed to be relative but do not have any family members in mexico with same name but they claim to be and even call by name. please do not take call obv. scam or worst.

I got two phoen calls @6pm and 6:02 at home from tel# 1 331 394 5222 claimed to be nephew from Querataro Mexico, but did not say his name till i called him by a nephews name in Queretaro Mexico.  
( i had just came back from Queretao Mexico)
He  called me aunt. please do not take call obv. scam or worst.!!!!!!

Recived a call fro 331 381 8313 @ 11:38 am, said that he was my nephew and he called me yesterday telling me he was on his way to Houston and was coming to my home.
He said he an accident in Mexico with a man  and the worst part was that the daughter was hurt, he needed money so they would not take him to jail,
He was going to pass me the Comandante to explain,
 
Got the police involved,  

He  never said myname but only uncle please do not take call obv. scam or worst.!!!!!!

Recived another call while I was typing this message, just said out of the area, and they hung up.

Received a call this afternoon from phone number 331-381-8313  
A male subject on the other end of the line kept calling me Tio (uncle), telling me he was my nephew and wanted me to guess who was calling.  He kept asking me to say who I thought it might be.
I did not want to guess and assumed it was one of our relatives from Mexico. I  passed the phone to my wife and person on the phone kept saying "Hola Tia, guess who this is" and kept insisting that she guess who he was.  My wife asked if it was Jose Luis and he said yes. Said he was in Monterrey and would call tomorrow  then stop by our house for a visit.  
1. We don't have a nephew named Jose Luis.
2. We had heard of this scam before.
3. We put a block on the number.

Same thing happened to my mom today. Someone called her yesterday claiming to be a cousin from mexico coming to visit disneyland and visit us. He said he would call her the next day to let her know what city he was in since he would be driving. Today he called saying he had been in an accident becasue his brakes failed and he hit a family of 4 and one of the victims was a small girl that was sent to the hospital. He said his insurance wouldnt cover since it had expired 10 days ago so he had reached an agreement with the federales and the owner of the other veichle. He ask for 1000 dollars and requested us to transfer it using money gram or western union under this information:

contact number was 01152-331-615-0304 which is from jalisco.
This was the daughter of the other driver since he said he couldnt move from the scene since the federales would not allow it.

we were fortunate enough to figure out it was a scam and didnt send the money.

EVERYONE BEWARE OF THESE TYPES OF SCAM! CALL OTHER RELATIVES TO FIND OUT IF IT IS TRUE BEFORE SENDING ANY MONEY!!





Lo mismo le pasó a mi mamá hoy en día. Alguien la llamó ayer que dice ser un primo de México que vienen a visitar Disneyland y nos visiten. Dijo que la llamaría al día siguiente para hacerle saber lo que la ciudad estaba en desde que se conduce. Hoy en día él llamó diciendo que había estado en un accidente debido a sus frenos fallaron y se encontró con una familia de 4 y una de las víctimas era una niña pequeña que fue enviado al hospital. Dijo que su cobertura de seguro molestaría, ya que había expirado hace 10 días por lo que había llegado a un acuerdo con los federales y el dueño de la veichle otros. Se piden 1.000 dólares y nos pidió que la transferencia mediante Money Gram o Western Union en esta información:

Esta era la hija del otro conductor ya que dijo que no podía pasar de la escena ya que los federales no se lo permitió.

tuvimos la suerte de descubrir que era una estafa y no enviar el dinero.

CUIDADO CON CADA UNO DE ESTOS TIPOS DE ESTAFA! CONVOCATORIA otros parientes para averiguar si es verdad antes de enviar cualquier dinero!

other names given to send money to were sindy lizbeth ortega sanchez, and daniel alejandro lopez esqivel

3311116033. call from "ralative" in mex. said to guess who it was. siad they were flying in from mex to visit in phoenix. then got a "lawyer" (arturo barrenquiera) on the phone saying he didnt claim $$ at customs in hermosillo, sonora. said fine is 10%, so $1500. send it to "licenciada" Ofelia Berenice Quiroz Baez (they have a fb page). it is a scam. they called again but we just sang to them. HOW DOES ONE REPORT THEM???

Received phone call from a spanish speaking man from (1 331 381 6359) who says he is my hard working cousin who is caught at the Tia Juana airport for not reporting hidden money and computer equipment in his luggage and needs help of $1000 to get through customs to return to USA to visit with family and he'll repay me as soon as I pick him up at the airport.  This cousin only speaks spanish due to customs not allowing him to speak in english. Thereafter, he saying he needs to walk into an area where customs allows him to speak english and he'll have to call me back, he hangsup and calls again. Now from the same Illinois phone number,'Tia Juana' customs speaks to me to confirm that if I would be helping this cousin with $1000.  I interrogated the 'Tia Juana' customs for info on this man, she would not answer any of my questions in regards to the info this cousin provided her with.  I was straight forward with not giving any of my info, she ends up hanging up (accidently, so she says). Again, same Illinois phone # with this so call cousin and customs calls again and asks for my mother name, I did not give out my personal info, she then puts me on hold.  I ended the call and not answering when they call again.  Beware of Illinois 1 331 381 6359.

You're right not to send any money - many people are getting these calls, claiming to be relatives, when in fact, they are scammers trying to scare them into sending money to "rescue" their relatives.

My grandmother received a call from 13312911651 today saying Hola tia voy en camino a su casa y necesito su direccion.  Si la persona llega a la direccion no saldra...  Cuidado con dar la informacion.

mother received a call from a 331 area code claimed was nephew on vacation in mexico and was coming to visit them in AZ stated would be here next day and called the following morning to say was in car accident and needed money $ to fix car and would pay them back when he got here.. total scam do not fall for it.  Unfortunately my mother is a victim of this scam crime.

Its a scam! It is something along the lines of the grandparents scam thats been going on but using a relative instead of..

0033 1 4214933 called me today also the same cousin scam story, he wanted me to guess who I was, saying he would come here on monday...I agreed to pick him up from the airport...
I doubled check and any of my cousins is coming

Same thing just happened to my parents

Today i was almost scam by this people . Same calling  from mexico n wanted m y address they wanted to stay with mr. First of all i am not even mexican . 2 calls from 525563686724 mexico city and the second 526641361641 tijuana..  week before it happen to my mom in laa boyfriend. Just a warning to all those scammer you will get ur time and its in jail. Everyone b careful.

It happen to me too but he wanted me to pick him up at airport n I said sure but I couldn't because I had a dr. appt but his uncle Carlos who work for the sheriff's will be happy to n he hung up.

Recibe llamado q decia ser sobrino, me decia tia y q si podia ir por el al aeropuerto, le dije q yo no podia pero su tio q trabajaba para el sheriff si podia y me colgo. Tengan cuidado cuando reciban estas llamado no den informacion y diganle un nombre falso y ciudad donde viven falsa tambien.
