pro-life political call

Called my landline in 925.  Left no message.

Got a call at 6:01 p.m.  Was on the phone  Wouldn't have left a message anyway.j

No message, but if it is a Pro-Life call, I just donated to Planned Parenthood, the true Pro-Life organization.

Got a call from this # at 6:01 p.m. on Tuesday.  No msg was left.

yes i got a call from this "pro life" group. Told them to never call me again and the woman asked if i was pro choice or some thing else. I told her I wasn't even on her groups radar. Never call me again. Im standing with PP and women power to choose.

Called but left no message. I returned call but no human answered recorded message with no identifying organization but an option to press a number and be placed on their "Do Not Call" list.  If they are a Pro-Life group, then they deserve our support. Taxpayer-funded abortion through Planned Parenthood does not.  Planned Parenthood is just part of the Culture of Death, which includes selling fetal parts for profit .

Called 8:34 PM, apparently from a cell phone with a very, very bad connection. Illegal under Pennsylvania law, since the call occurred after 8PM., and I'm on the DO Not Call list. And I was eating dinner, dammit.

I have had this number show up on my caller ID twice in the last half hour. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize it. I googled it and found this thread. I do not want to receive these calls. I am on the do not call list.

Getting daily calls from this number, now. And it's just dead air. suspect an autodialer.

Ladies & others:  These "have-nothing-else-to-do" scammers do not use DNC lists. The equipment they use is programmed for a block of numbers in an area code. The unit keeps dialing until an answer or pick up on the line is detected. Then that number is placed on the "valid" list and sold to a bunch of other people in the same category. The rule is: If you don't recognize the number don't pick up the receiver. Despite popular personal belief you are not that important so if someone really wants to talk to you let them leave a message or send USPS certified. People for some reason seem to think that when that bell goes off they are to stop everything and get to the phone fast.....For What? Don't react like a pavlov rat reacting to some form of stimuli.....

Don't have to answer the phone. Just because it rings does not mean everything stops - unless you let it.
These calls are placed by "auto-dialers" that run a 1,000 number block looking for valid numbers. You answer the call and your number is validated and added to other lists. If you are so important that someone just has to reach you they will leave a voice message or send a USPS letter....Live your life! Life was here before phones and idiots with nothing better to do than bother people.

Appropriate username, "nobody" exactly what he/she thinks of the unborn. Not that I have any particular position on the subject. :)
