Llaman diciendo que es un sobrino que viene de viaje y que quiere quedarse en la noche en nuestra casa. Acento Cubano...no tengo sobrinos cubanos ni caribenos. Trate de sacarle mas informacion que de que ciudad vivia, de donde venia.....y cuando se dio cuental que estaba averiguando informacion acerca de el....colgo. Tengan cuidado cuando lo llaman de este numero telefonico.

They acted like they are related but I told them I did not know who they were. Then hung up when I insisted they give me their name.

Call from 331-807-0467 to my parents  saying its a cousin and to guess who? They picked a name saying coming to visit from Mexico City to nearby USA airport but will call later with flight detail info. Later called saying he was detained asking for money or else he would go to jail. I contacted my cousin and he was home and advised my parents not to provide any info. My parents said he had Mexican accent. When told he didn't sound like my cousin he said he had a cold.

Lo que estaba tratando de aser era sacarle informacion a mi mama de Los familiares. Tongan cuiadado es un ESTAFADOR! He is a SCAMMER! Don't give any information to this number!

This Saturday, January 25, 2014, I received a phone call from a man claiming that he was my cousin. He told me that he was coming to visit me. I believed him because my cousin has done this before. An hour later, I received another phone call telling me that he was on an accident in I-95. He had a flat tire and hit a car and that he has problem with the insurance. He wanted to pay the owner of the other car and move on.  So he needed to pay the man (who was supposedly a doctor from Mexico). So be awar!!

Got a call from 331-807-0467 my mom answered and they told her that it was one of my cousins who was on his way from Tampa. Funny thing is that I do have some cousins working is Tampa. We got a second call about an hour and a half later but my dad answered. He didn't recognize the voice so he kept asking who it was the person kept saying it was his nephew. My dad kept saying " no it's not who is this" I guess they hung up. My dad tried calling the number but he got a message saying the number dialed was incorrect.

Llamaron a mi casa diciendo que era un primo, y que venia de Mississippi y que se podria quedar a en mi casa. Despues que tuvo un accidente y que le habia pegado a una ven y que necesitaba dinero porque no tenia seguranza y se queria arreglar con dinero con la persona con quien le pego. Mandamos dinero a la direccion tratando de ayudar al "primo," pero despues le llemamos al verdadero primo preguntandole que si habia recibido el dinero. Despues que descubrimos que era un tranza de cabrones guebones que solo pierden el tiempo tratando de ser tranza por que no tienen ninguna otra cosa que hacer, llamamos para cancelar la transaccion. Gracias a Dios que todavia no lo habian cobrado. Se recupero el dinero!!!

Llamo una persona diciendo que era mi sobrino, a lo cual no crei y contacte a mi sobrino y el esta bien, es una estafa, no den ninguna informacion.

Just got a call from some guy in spanish who said he was my cousin Junior visiting  and to guess who it is.... he tells me his name and said to me he was already in route to my house.  He then calls me back saying he got into an accident and his insurance just expired.  The guy who is from mexico traveling with his daughter who also got hurt driving a big rig car with BMW cars on it.. He travels once every few months here in the states near philadelphia won't call the cops if he is wired money.  He is asking $1,300.00 and wanted me to go to walmart to give him the money so my cousin can be on his way without calling the cops.  

Glad i found this page, no way am i going to send money to someone on the other side of the phone  I dialed the number and I get a fast busy signal.  Number is coming from Chicago illionis.. The person he wanted me to send the money to is 1047 Ave Columbia Centro San paul Jalesco Mexico.  # 331-807-0467.  

They also called my mother saying they were coming to visit, then called a few minutes later and asked for money saying they got in a car accident and need money! Beware of these people, I called sheriffs office

House phone rang.  My grandchild picked up. When I heard someone speaking Spanish I took the phone from him, when I said hello they asked me if this was "" and they gave my first name, when I answered who is this,  they insisted this is " " and they gave me my last name , "it's you nephew" The one that does not live in Gainesville. For a moment it made me think of all of my nieces and nephews and when I kept asking questions and more questions they finally hung up.  Definitely a scam as I do not have any nephews or nieces living outside of my own town.

I too received a call from this male saying he was my cousin and for me to guess who he is. He stated that he was a cousin from out of state. When I said that he does sound like anyone of my relatives and he insisted for me to guess which cousin. He started to fish for me to give him names of relatives that are from out of state but I was not too cooperative so he hung up on me.
This guy immediatly was very peppy with his voice like we were very close family and trying to get me to get excited and just throwing out family names.
Beware this is a HUGE scam artist....

Same here they called me last night, speaking Spanish saying it was my cousin and would be here in about 4 hours and would keep calling me they called 8 times after that because I did not pick it up. He even said I can't believe you dont remember me and what should I bring since I don't want to get there with open arms. He did not ask for any personal information on that call but I would imagine if I would have kept picking it up he would have. He said he was in Jacksonville and was about 4 hours away. At the time, I was not so skeptical even though I don't have a cousin in Jacksonville but I thought it was someone I knew pulling a prank, once the calls kept coming in, it raised a red flag and I am thankful for this site because it clearly gave me an indication of a scammer. I wish he could be caught.

Do not give this man any personal information. He called my folks the first time pretending to be a long lost cousin who happened to be in Bakersfield, fishing for information as he talked with them. He called a second time with a completely different cell number stating that he was "on his way" but when my father started asking for a last names and other personal information the scammer immediately hung up. Its a man with a very heavy puerto rican/cuban accent, very energetic, who acts way too friendly. HANG UP IMMEDIATELY and do not give any info!
