Called trying to get money as a family member from Mexico. Wouldn't say a name trying to get me to saying a name for him. Big time scam. Do not give into this people!

They called me as well saying they had my cousin from Colombia , trying to get me to say a name.. wanted a $1950.00 MONEY GRAM! COMPLETE SCAM !!! [***]!

I received a call from these individuals awhile back claiming to be my cousin who was visiting my home state and would be in my city soon. At the time, I thought it may have been a relative. They stated they would call back, and checked the number and read the long list of complaints. I immediately blocked their number, and never heard back. This early morning I received a call from the same individual and he stated my name and said that he was my cousin. I asked him his name and he asked where he would be calling from?! I asked again who it was, and he hung up. Hell will freeze before I wire a stranger money. Will have to block this number again. BEWARE.

Called claiming to be a cousin, tried to embarrass me into guessing who. Knew my name which threw me off, but the caller's accent didn't match my cousins

They called me and pretended to be my cousin form Mexico, they knew my husband's name, my address and phone numbers.. then my cousin supposedly was here at Los Angeles airport and had not declared over 10,000 that he was bringing into the states and they transferred me to a supposedly Mexican official here that would help him and return his documents and will avoid a record if I sent the taxes that should have been paid before he left Mexico to an official in Mexico.  It was all a scam and I lost 2,000 dollars!!

llamaron haciendose pasar como un viejo amigo, que venia a Los Angeles para que nos vieramos, pero luego que colgo me vine a revisar el numero en la web y encontre que anda estafando gente, haciendose pasar por familiares o amigos. Que bueno que estan estos comentarios para advertirnos de sus fechorias y no caer en la trampa.

This person also called me saying he was my cousin. He told me that I had forgotten about the family so soon. I asked him what was his name but he just hung up. Hopefully this person gets caught soon because it's not right what he is doing,taking the money away from people. Don't fall for this trap!

I received a call from these ass#### who claimed to be my cousin in chicago, said he had gotten into a car crash and didnt have any insurance. Since my cousin doesnt speak good spanish i was translating and see if we can come into an agreement with the man without involving police, he said the deductible was 1850 and my cousin only had 900 on him. They wanted me to send the other half and I almost believed it cuz he knew my name and called me by a nick name only family members call me but when he started talking perfect spanish i put them on mute making them think i was going to write the info down, decided to call my other cousin and ask him to call my real cousin and it just happend he was at a pancake house eating. After that I hung up on them and they called back. I went off on them and told them if they wanted money to put their lazy [***] to work. I was so pissed off I told them everything you can think of. Do not fall for this scam!

He called saying he was my fathers nephew and knew my families names he said was in chicagos aerport my father told him he will calle his daughter that workes with the fbi and could helped and hung up.  He sounds dominican

They called today. He claimed to be my cousin from mexico. Which we hadn't talked to in years and he said he was on the airport in Madison. That he needed our address to come to. My mom thought it was him and gave him my address. I find it extremely weird that he knew so much information about my family tho. He said he was getting a cab. He called back and said he couldn't get his bags from the airport because he had 23000 dollars in it and they questioned him about it. And he wanted us to talk to the agent he was with. That's when I knew it wasn't him. I asked him to tell me how he used to call me when I was little and he didn't respond. Then my mom told me he got deported and that the guy I was talking to was not him. I hung up on him. Then called my cousins mom she gave me his number. I called him and he's in mexico. And told me to do a report on these scamming individuals.
