This is a scam!  Tried to get information out of me pretending he was coming to visit me.  Then he called back that he was in a car accident and needed money quickly.

Called stating that he was making a suprise visit.  Then called asking for money because he needed help with a serious issue.  SCAM!!

We received a call which I answered in Spanish. The caller is artful and managed to extract a likely first name from our conversation. He speaks Spanish with the accent of a native of Spain. In our back and forth he did not get to the part where he would have tried to extract money, but I am sure this was on his agenda.

Recibimos una llamada que conteste en espanol. Quien llamo es astuto y supo extraer un nombre posible de la conversacion. Habla castellano con un acento iberico. Aunque en nuestra conversacion no llego al parte donde pide dinero, estoy seguro que esto estaba en sus planes. ES UN TIMO.

I received a call from this number on Monday 6/22/2015, at 4:54 pm.
He knew my full name. He spoke in Spanish. Probably "Central Colombian" accent. Wanted to get information out of me: Guess who is calling? I'm your nephew. Has been a long time not see you!!.
Two mistakes: I hate games and .....I have no nephews or nieces.
It SMELLED like SCAM to me, I just hang up.

Same thing happened to me today, June 28, 2015. A man called in Spanish saying he was my husband's uncle and when I said my husband had no uncles, he said he was his cousin. They tried to do this to my mom years ago. My mother's last names, as well as my husband’s, are not very common. I guess they try with people whose last names are rare to make it more believable. I am reporting this for sure.

A guy called my mom in Spanish and said he was her nephew. That he was in Puerto Vallarta Mexico arrested for carrying 19k in cash through airport on way back to USA.  An "official" from Mexico spoke to her and verified the amount needed. My mother wired around $980 to them. These folks had a Mexican accent when they spoke. There is a possible connection that my brother was vacationing in Puerto Vallarta and my father

They called saying: Cousin you don't remember me I am going to Cancun and stoping by Miami, can you pick me up at the airport. Please know that this number will try to make you believe that you know them and they need your help! SCAM SCAM

This man  is spanish with a Dominican accent. He gave me my fathers name and our address. I guess he got it from the white pages Same story only he didn't ask for money . Im sure he is planning to do it next time.

Never got a call from
This number before today.  Didn't recognize it; didn't answe it; no message left.   I never answer numbers I don't know. Nevrr

Claims cousin is coming from out of town and that he was in accident. Send $500 by western union and won;t call the police. Number won;t dial back. When asked for photo proof. Says phone is dead and won't take pictures
