*DO NOT PICK UP FROM THIS NUMBER* Got a call from this number but since I didn't recognize it I let it go to voicemail. I heard a spanish voice but couldn't really make out what they were saying until I heard "los voy a matar a todos", Spanish for I'm gonna kill them all and then it cut off. Not sure if this was a joke or not but I'm gonna report it to the police.

A men call from this number to said that he is my perent..I dont recognize the voice he started talking about drugs..I Goin to report to the police

This # called our house saying he was a relative and was in a serious car accident and had expired insurance and needed to pay the other driver. He asked we transfer $1100 to an account in Mexico. I thought it sounded very strange so we said no. Hasn't called back, but called back to let term know it's a scam and the # is not in service. Beware!!

Number called and man said he was a cousin here from Mexico and had gotten in a car accident and needed money sent to Guadalajara. It's a scam. DONT ANSWER.

Just got a call from this number said he was a cousin from México who was arriving to LAX the next day... Called said cousin who is currrently on vacation overseas.

It might actually be a Mexican number.

The number is a Guadalajara number... 33 is the área code for Guadalajara

Got a call from this number. Unfortunately we lost 4,000 dollars on these [***]. One: because my grandma answered the phone and two: she pretty much felt bad for what had supposedly happened. They told her they were some family from San Francisco and later said that they had got in a car accident  and some girl with cancer was in the car and that she'd passed away. They were asking for 7,000 or else they were gonna call the cops. They said they didn't have insurance on the car and that to hurry up and send the money. It's scam guys. Don't answer.

do not answer this idiot trick us acting like he knows u plays it off and says.... u for got who i was n says hes gonna b in los angeles and that has sombody in carson that he needs to say hi and that then after that he will stop by n visit  called my siblings to see if we new sombody w this area code n he said no to report the number n block it  when i spoke to yhe police they said unfortunaltly yout house number is registered witn ur name and email or they can just google any telepohone number n the name appears n thats how they trick u like they kno u by egtting ur name and acting like they kno u they spoke spanished when they called my house   they been calling but same like u guys if i dont kno the number i dont answer either but this time i decided to answer since this number kept calling       dont answer this number  block it n dont say nothing much if they trick u saying they kno u or u won something or what ever   just keep posting so people are aware pls    today is monday jan 12,2015 @ 5:55 pm cali time   somebody needs to keep these asshoes away man  its verry scarry  hope this helps  reallyyy this number has been reported the  harbor divison police station   if it helps   thanks    forgot to say   he called us acting like he a fam member we have not taked to in yrs!  he sure got us  

Do not pick up this phone number! It is a scam and this very strange man answers in Spanish. We received two calls twice in the past 10 minutes. I stupidly answered the "out of area" number because we have family in Mexico and it usually has random numbers on the caller ID whenever anyone calls from there. My grandma is currently in Mexico so I thought it was her or maybe an aunt or uncle. With this in mind I answered and a guy answered back in Spanish. He immediately asked for "prima" which means cousin. I instantly realized he must have thought he was speaking to my mother so I identified that it was actually her daughter and I gave him my name and said my mother was in the shower. And he said in Spanish "Ahh okay I'll call back later then." So I let my mother know and she got worried about my grandma and said if they called backed she'd answer. Again the same number calls about 5 minutes later and the same man picks up. I tell him that it's still me and that my mother just got out of the shower. So he says to pass it to her and I do and this is the conversation in English:
Mom: "Hello?"
Man: "Hey cousin how are you?"
Mom: "Fine but who is this?"
Man: "Your cousin!"
Mom: "Who?"
Man: "From out of state. Out of California"
Mom: "I have several cousins from out of state."
Man: "Aunt, don't you know who this is?"
Mom: "What? Who is this?"
Man: *makes noise of frustration and hangs up*

See how he says one minute he's a cousin and then he goes on to say he is really a nephew. Made no sense and luckily my mother caught on quick to this guy. He probably wanted money or something but I noticed in the background you can hear several people talking as well which was odd. Will be reporting this to the police later today.

Same message, said he was a cousin and needed money. My mother and i asked him his name, he stated my cousins name. I asked his last name and he replied with the wrong last name. So my mom told him to not call asking for money because he wasnt our relative and that she was going to call the police and immigration on him and he replied with, "te voy a hechar yo a inmigracion hija de la [***]" and clicked.
