I received a call from this number, it was a man saying he was a family member from Mexico, and when I asked him to identify himself he just hang out on me. Be careful.

Similar situation. They called me twice. They were very vague but also said they were family... Very suspicious.

A man called my father from this number asking my dad to pick him up from the airport saying he was a family member from Mexico

I got a call from this number today and my phone indicated it was coming from france. The man spoke in spanish and said "hola hola" and he sounded confused. I just told him wrong number and he said something in broken English and hung up. No further calls yet.

We received calls twice to my mom and once to my dad asking to pick him up at the airport. Claiming that he was a family member. It's a scam, DONT ANSWER IT.

Its a scam artist looking for information claiming your a relative from Mexico!!!

I just received a call from this # saying that it was my cousin from abroad...I just hung up because I knew that no one from abroad will call me hahaj

I just got a call of a suppose cousin saying he was  on his way here to pick up tools for a mechanical shop he just opened, I called Mexico to confirm,  found out it was all a lie. ..I'm waiting on this cousin with a .45 special. .I'm giving him a welcome home! Present🔫

I got a message from this number , very weird  , male voice ,in Spanish ,and stated he was my cousin  ,my favorite cousin, I told him I have several cousins, who are you? And he hung up the phone

It's a scam-pretending to be family to gain your trust-then all of a sudden an emergency pops up and he need his family (YOU) to give/loan him $100-$2000.00 to care for his emergency. It's a scam-he disappears along with your money. He's not family-he's a criminal.

Who in Mexico did you call? 'cause I can't imagine you talked to the actual country, as your post states.
