Call from unknown person impersonating my nephew.

He was calling my grandma asking for money impersonating a nephew. Do not send money to this person.

Has been calling my parents pretending to be a nephew from out of town

This is a type of "grandparent scam"

Beware spanish speaking scammer. Pretends to be a relative. Fishes for information. Has been calling 3 to 5 times a week for the past 2 weeks. 8/14/14

He's been calling parents 3 to 5 times a day. Already told him off but the jerk won't stop calling.

Just said he is my moms cousin....
Got in a accident on his way to visit us, now he needs money to pay the guy off!!!

My mom received a call from a man speaking Spanish, he claimed he was a cousin but with no name. He started fishing for names and went with the first name my mom said. He said he was coming to visit us and asked for my moms address and she gave it to him and my # as well. 30 min. later he called and said he got in a accident and needed $800 dollars to pay the man he hit.... But it seemed odd when he called for money since my moms cousin has money up the Ass. The money needed to be wired to Mexico and right away he said. When I read all this post( right away I knew it was a scam). He called the house phone and I let him know i knew it was a scam, he sounded Mexican, just started using profanity " I was lucky he wasn't there or he will rape my mom" this being my moms cousin lol. I told him the same thing and repeated everything he said until he got tired lol...

Actually we did avoid the scam....
I answered the phone and he wanted to know if the money got transferred...
But I exposed him and told him I knew it was a scam... He got really mad and started using profanity ... He got tired of me and hanged up...
He has my # cuz my mom gave it to him and the address...
What should I do?

Beware ,  guys are calling over public telephones to gather information and gain easy cash. They have stolen information or gain pieces of information illegal ! If you get a call ignore or better yet state your a law enforcement employe. Also find out the area code and that you have warn the state it's located

Scammer ! Continues to call my house asking for family members. Do not give out any information. Looking for money !

Called my parents saying he was a nephew. After asking him questions he hanged up

Called my partents in Mexico saying he was a nephew and that he was coming to visit them from USA. Then calls again saying that he had an accident and needs 2000 dollars to pay. Then when my parents asked them for personal information and he refuses.
