They called saying that he was coming over and that he was from the other side. Then he said he was my cousin joe. He called us the second time and said that he was at a gas station and that he got hit in the back. That he didnt have insurance. He wanted a lot of money. Beware and when they ask you if you know who they are dont guess because they will use it so they can get money from you

This guy called saying he was my cuz from mex and said he was coming into the states. My real cousin had no intentions of coming in , haha not even a visa.

he called my house phone number saying he was my cousin from L.A and he made me guess who he was and he told my grandma that he was coming to vist but not tell anybody so it would be a surprise and we did until he called the next morning saying he got hit and he needed 500 dollers for his car so we stopped answering his calls be aware and dont keep answering he will stop calling.

This guy call my uncle and he say tht was he's cousin and he wanna come ove but the weird thing was tht he say tht hi's name was toto and my uncle has a cousin named toto lol

Watch out for this phone number! Some guy left a message in Spanish calling himself my "nephew". I did not talk to this man, but all this sounds like a scam. Watch out for these people.

Watch out for this scammer he called today asking my mom to guess who he was and supposly hes my moms cousin coming from mexico and that hes in LA and that he would be here in 2 hours but the funny thing is he knows where we live ???!!!

This guy just called me and said he was my cousin. RIGHT AWAY I knew that his call was a SCAM so I was like what? he got all pissed and said TU PRIMO HIJA DE [***] MADRE!! LMFAO! 1333-368-2614 and 331 0306570  problable this people are calling with a calling card, hard to track; first time my wife awnser saying he was her cousing and he was coming to CA to visit us, same history like everybody else, the second time I awnser  after I refuse to give the phone to his "cousing" he treat us. just becareful.

333 is an invalid area code, So this means they are calling from Mexico.

Este tipo habla a tu casa en mexico y hace un cuentazo de que viene de sorpresa y despues vuelve a llamar diciendo que le tienes que depositar una cantidad de 20 mil pesos en Banamex a nombre de un tal Ruben Marquez García o a nombre de un tal Francisco, todo porque está detenido en el aeropuerto ya que no declaró una cantidad de 22500 dlls y que por eso lo tienen detenido, se hace pasar por tu familiar y se saben hasta los nombres de la familia. Tengan cuidado es un timador: No le sigan el juego.

I just received a call from this number, the person that was calling claimed to be my cousin whe I started asking for his name he just told me he was my cousin from Mexico hung up. Watch out for these calls.

My mother received a call from a man who claimed to be her "nephew" who was visiting from Mexico. He did not identify himself but rather kept telling my mother to take a guess. My mother not knowing any better took a guess and asked if it was Sergio. He took that bit of information and kept saying that, yes he was Sergio, and that he would be getting here in 2hrs.!  We were skeptical and decided to call other relatives. Turned out Sergio had no plans of coming to the US at all! About 20 mins. later he called again, this time by brother-in-law answered, He did not go along with his "game" and in the end the so called "SERGIO" told him off and hung up. Be careful!!

This person called us and told my father that he was his nephew from my mothers side and that he was coming over as a surprise. He then explained that he hit a persons car and he didnt have insurance. He wanted 500 that we didn't have. Beware his strategy is to find out as much as he can from you so small talk and convo and uses that to slowly ask for your relatives numbers to scam them too..

My brother got a call today on our house phone claiming to be an out of state relative. He had my bro guess who he was and said he'd be in town soon and to keep it a surprise from the rest of our family. He then called bak a few hours later and said he was just in an accident and needed to pay $1,000 or else the other party was gonna press charges.
