Phone rang once and then disconnected. Judging from the other responses this is a scam. I did not answer and will put them on my blocked list.

I don't know who this number belongs to and I don't feel safe getting a call all the way from Alabama so I was wondering if it is some type of marketing or sales person or something of that sort

Started telling me that I have won something, but I did not stay on the line to find out what or who.  I am on the do not call list and keep updated by re-registering.  The government can find out who is calling other numbers when they want to, so they should shut down these bogus callers who wake us up in the morning, interrupt our meals, and wake us up at night.  Why do we even have the do not call list if no-one enforces it.  All the do not call list seems to have done in many cases is to get our personal phone numbers that could be subject to hackers.  Just my personal opinion.

You don't have to "update" your number on the DNC.  Once on it, its permanent until you remove it.  By renewing it, all you do is open yourself up for the added calls of legitimate telemarketers for 30 day's.

And most of these illegal callers are using spoofed numbers. They are hard to track and also most of these "you've won" lottery's or sweepstakes, are actually coming out of Jamaica and/or India. All are scam operations. Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Received call from 334-310-1368 on my cell phone. Rang once and stopped--did not answer and they did not leave a VM. Suspected that this was a scam phone call so didn't try to call them back.

Mike and a couple of others here are right. I received a one-ring call on my CELL phone from this number on 2/2/2015 at 2:59 pm Pacific time, they left no VM. I called the number back (which might easily put me at risk of receiving a follow up call) and it answered with the recording saying (more closely paraphrased) "Hi! This is Christy from Reward Redemption. We called you because you recently visited one of our affiliate websites. In appreciation, we have a $100 gift card for you, redeemable at stores like WalMart ..." However, I also never leave my cell number on any Websites. I used to be in an outbound cold call soliciting job, and I know these people don't NEED you give your phone number anywhere in order to get it, because they simply get an easily available list of all the 3-digit telephone *prefixes* within a given area code and then program their automated (or human) dialers to call every number in a prefix from 0000 to 9999. That way, they reach everyone.***I, TOO, SMELL A PHISH.***

I called this number back and this is what it said "Hi! This is Christy from Reward Redemption. We called you because you recently visited one of our affiliate websites. In appreciation, we have a $100 gift card for you, redeemable at stores like WalMart ..."  I did just enter a contest last night so I waited.  When the guy came on the phone he told me I won $100 Walmart and a $50 American Express card,  all I had to do was pay the 5.95 shipping and they would send them right out.  I said no and he hung up.
