A man with a heavy accent has called me from this number, BACK-to-BACK and also at my work, claiming that a lawsuit has been filed against me. All they say is that they are from the "DA's office".

a man or a women keeps calling my cell phone and my business phone saying i committed fraud and i have to go to the court house if i don't show up i will be arrested . um these people must think im stupid . I hear the tv in the background first of all and my checks r legit and i only use three for rent car and cc bill so they can kiss my a**.

called both my cells and telling me i commited fraud and i have to go to the court house and if i dont go i will have a warrant for my arrest. the only time i wright checks is when i pay rent or my car payment so they need to stop!!

They called and said I committed a fraud??? They really need to stop harassing me, I have no idea what their talking about!! Just another scam...

I received a bogus call from this number stating that I was being suit by the Gaines Law Firm in regards to some payday loans, that I have no idea on.  They said that I would incur $8,000 in fees and that the sheriff was going to pick me up.  I said "Go ahead.."  I then went on an searched for the Gaines Law Firm, and their office said that they apologized and that they had been getting calls from people mentioning them suing them for outstanding loans.

I hate to be discriminatory, but I will.  These callers are obviously South Asian Indians.  I can tell, and I know all the complainers can tell.  I recently "did" receive a personal from a very legitimate company in the Orange County (CA) area, that helped me consolidate some debts that I had, and I am so very grateful for that, but these "hackers...,"  where do they come from.  I work for a company that is has their own American-owned firm in India, and the stories I hear of payolas and other situations, is just devastating.  Many Americans are not aware of their rights in the case of being harassed by callers like the one I received today.  What legitimate company says "F U" the moment you call them bank for more information???

I will be reporting this 334-394-3591 number to the FTC today.  I don't know how much good it will be, but I tell you what...I would love to be just part of a scam against these fools.

Next time you get a call from a caller from this number, or other callers of the same nature...tell them - "Go ahead and have me arrested...Thank you very much!"  That will really piss them off.

By the way, to all those who might be reading this...regarding the discriminatory part...guess what?  I am Asian myself.

Received a call from this number claiming that I owe money and if I did not return the call then they will move forward with charges. The claim is that I owe a bill I never had or heard of. Then they called my job!!!

Call my job, I returned the call only to be told that I owed a bill for a company I never heard of and they wanted my bank info.  I started asking questions. He said I was asking too many questions and to call my mom and have her gather bail money because I was going to jail!  What the.... (and yes they were foreign supposedly from a law firm in AL)

I received a call from this number today as well.  I have received numerous calls from places like this so I know what to say and that really pissed this guy off.  I told him to fax me a verification of debt and he said he would give it to the officer that will be at my house tomorrow.  He then said he was only calling for my attorney information and I told him I'd be more then happy to give him that information after he told me who the supposed debt was with...he then said he did not have to give me any information and that the police will take care of it tomorrow.  I told him I previously contacted my courts and they have nothing showing against me, he said "oh really, we'll see".  I'm going to call them back and ask for an address because my attorney told me to get one so he could send them an Attorney of Record letter and see what they say.  This man doesn't like to talk to people that know what they are talking about.

Just received a called from this number saying they were from Us Cash Lending, and I never paid back a payday loan (which I never applied for or received). They immediately asked for my social security number. I told the asshat on the other end to F* himself and go ahead with his legal proceedings. I told him I was calling the attorney Generals office.

I also received a call from this number on my cell phone at 7:45 pm 1.7.14. I did not understand the name of the firm he was calling from, when I pressed him he transferred me to a paralegal.  This person said I was being sued for not paying back a payday loan from US Cash (which I never took out). He said the money was deposited on 12.3 or 12.13 2013.  Verified my deposits and guess what, I had not received this amount from this company.  The $679.00 is exactly the amount another company and fraud number tried last week.  

This number is calling me saying they have a lawsuit against my social security number, but they won't tell me the nature of the case. They are harassing me at home and on my job.

I received the same phone call as well and after several failed attempts to gather information from them I then received a call from someone claiming to be a Denver investigation officer. I got her name and badge number and when I called the number back which did go to the Police department they told me that they have gotten a lot of these phone calls today about the same thing and that the badge number did not exist.

I kept getting a call from this number n I finally spoke with them n they told me I was being sued and a cop would arrest me at my job the next day when I ask for info they wouldn't give it to me so just like they did to me I kept calling them n telling them I called the police and gave their number n I wanted to know what loan I received and when and they told me to call their customer service line and told me the number was 911 and she laugh and hung up then they blocked my number

I got the same call - told I owed a debt on a payday loan and would be arrested if I didn't make restitution today - no questions allowed, no paperwork, no verification of any kind, just threats that the police would arrest me if I didn't pay.

I'm in the same boat as the rest of you. Got a voice mail at work from a man with an very thick accent, claimed his name was Johnathon Davis.  Demanded i call him back immediately as there was an important legal matter tied to my name.  Which seems hard to swallow, if it was tied to my social maybe, but just to my name? I have a very common first and last name, it would be amazing to pinpoint my location using just that (haha)

The man name is Kevin Green. Never heard a China person or India person with that name. They called my job. Please someone get these scammers.

I have I received two calls form these people to my cell phone and also to my place of employment. They are harassing me say that I have committed a fraudulent crime and will be sent to jail with maximum fines included. He had a very heavy mid-eastern accent and was very rude.
