I got a prank call threatening me with arrest for an alleged crime that was never committed.

They called me and said i had took out a loan for 300 in August and was gonna bring me a summons to court tomorrow at work and tke me to jail. I dont know what this scam is but they need to lose my number.

I received a call at work yesterday from 334-819-1348 from "Anthony Miller" who had a very thick/heavy accent. He stated I owed money for a payday loan I had not paid back and was being listed in a law suit for check fraud. When I asked for more information regarding the debt he transferred to a supervisor. She would not give me the name of the company I owed money. Stated they were not allowed to give out that information. I told her I did not owe she stated I has going to be arrested at my work for "check fraud" for a payday loan I had not paid back. Stated officers would be at my work (named my place of employment) at 9:00 am Friday to arrest me and I would "have to prove it in court". They have refused to give me their address and will just hang up on me.

Called my phone but refused to identify what company they were. Said I would be arrested! Being that I am in law enforcement, I know that there is a process to any kind of arrest. These guys are out of India running a scam! I informed them that I was aware of the scam and to please not contact me anymore! I researched the law firm they alleged and it is non existent!

Report them to Homeland Security.  That's what was recommended to me by the pay day loan company.

I keep getting calls from this number.  They are always foreigners, and they said they are calling because I am listed as a criminal in a fraud case.  I ask what company they represent, and they won't tell me.  I ask what firm they are from, and they won't tell me. I just asked the lady what state she is calling from, and she said Alabama.  I said yeah right, your not from America.  She said I was from Afghanastan, and called me fraud lady.  I keep asking them to stop calling, but they won't!!

Have been getting a call from this number for 3 days. they said i took a payday lone out and that i was in a criminal case about the lone. so i called the company.  they said i took it out from and they said i was not in there system at all they are fake as hell and that they try and use there name to get money from people... i called back and asked for there address and state they are from and they would not give me the information.  then they told me not to call back and then hung up on me and i have tried to call back and they will not pick up  hope they stop calling !!!!!!

I have had the same calls for the past week! What can I do to make them stop??

Received a call stating,this was a time sensitive issue. And i can be arrested. WHO THE HELP IS THIS?? So frustrating!

I just received a message from this same number stating the same thing. It's just somebody trying to scam us. Tell them you are tracing the call and will have them arrested.

I just received the same MSG telling me to get an attorney that I would be going to jail within the next 24hrs.

the guy name is james smith, but i know he is from india because i work with couple of indian friends and when they heart the conversation that i recorded talking to the mr smith my agree with me that theses guys are from india..i don`t know how but somebody has to put a stop on this crap

I got a call on my job today from this number and they stated the same things word for word. the difference is that i probly lost my job because i left and went to my bank. i was on the phone with him while talking to the banker. the banker heard the man tell me to pay 300 by money order or westerb union and the charges would be dropped.

Ray Nelson law firm. First of all I live in a 502 area code have no ideal were 334 is. And if I had a loan it would be in the state I live in, Do these people think we are that stupid to fall for that con.
