I want to report a series of numbers: 336-217-0877, 336-217-881,336-217-0876.  Always says Southnet on caller ID.  I can't block these calls through ATT. Someimes they are doing a survey, sometimes a hang up and when I said that I am on the DO Not Call list the women today said HA what Do NOt Call LIst and hung up.

have about 4 calls from this number in a matter of a week, they never leave a message.Which leads me to think they are selling something. I too am on the do not call list, appparently there is a loophole somewhere about that.

Hang up call after hang up call after hang up call...maybe they hang up when a person answers instead of a machine...what a sleazy way to make a living.  Don't these people have any other marketable skills besides a pulse and an opposable thumb...??

I just started getting these phone calls.
My number is unlisted as it is a cell phone number.
I have gotten 2 calls in 2 days.
When I call back it says the number is disconnected. WEIRD.
Next time they call, they will get a good [***] chewing or maybe I will play with their mind.

I started recieving these phone calls also!  I live in Chattanooga, TN now, and do not live in Greensboro anymore...How in the heck did they recieve my number anyway!  No one has it except my EX... I just want to know what the heck this is!!!  Says SOUTHNET also!!

Received a hang up call just now from 336-217-0877.  We are in Southwest Florida.  Southnet, also.

Been caling me twice a day since yesterday. Ugh

I just received a call from this number shortly after getting off the phone with a friend.  While we talking there was a weird crackling noise that wasn't being caused by our phones because we tried different ones, he said he heard the same crackling noise when talking to another friend of his.  The man said "Sorry I think I got the wrong number" right after i picked up, I'm not sure he even heard me say hello first. Than i said bye and hung up. I am thinking possibly they called me to confirm my voice was connected to that phone number. The person I was talking to has a criminal background and they may be tapping his phone or something.  If you are doing something illegal, beware.

Got a Call from this number 336-217-0877 and gave the phone to my husband, they said they wanted to conduct a survey on our local radio stations, I hardly ever listen to the radio anymore to answer questions on their survey.

Rec'd 2 calls tonight; one after 9pm; we didn't answer.  No message. Scary to see all these posts; will continue to ignore. We are on do-not-call list, but I don't want to engage these people at all.

We did not answer and no message was left.  We are also on the do not call list and our number is unlisted.

1 call so far....did not answer.  No message.  Saw "Southnet" on I.D.  I am also on the "Do Not Call" list....!

Just got a call from this number too, very strange.  I didn't answer as I'm at work right now.  No message left, when I tried to call back from a land line I got a message that the number was disconnected also.

just got a call from these guys....i'm in seattle...glad i researched it....sounds like "southnet" is to be avoided. I am on do not call list.

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number.  The gal said she was doing a survey and asked where I shop most for apparel.  Then she asked specifically if I have shopped at certain stores within the last 2 years - Penneys, Macys, Target, etc.  After she hung up, I tried to call back, and it was a disconnected number.  I am now suspicious that someone is trying to use my identity or credit.  Only my friends have my cell number, but I do use it when I shop over the internet.

Got a call from Southnet, this time the surveyor wanted to ask me questions about my cable TV service, at which time I told the person on the other end of the line that my number was registered with the Do Not Call list,& they proceeded to tell me that Congress allows survey calls &that the Do Not Call list does not work,in respect, Congress enacted the Do Not Call list to stop all, yes all annoying & unwanted calls. If they continue to bother people, the people should have the right to call them at their home any time of the day or night,preferably after midnight to ask them stupid questions.
Maybe, we as consumers should since they are asking stupid questions,we should respond with stupid answers.

I sympathise with you, that's what I planning on doing the next time they call me, play with their mind so bad they'll think twice about bothering me again, too bad we all can't do that to them.
