These guys are SPAM callers that are trying to sell websites. Hang up when they cal!

I received a call from this number. Said they were from Google regarding my google listing. When I questioned why they were calling me at least 3 times a week, the man on the phone became very rude and nasty. Not sure if they are from Google, but if so I would never do business with someone so rude and nasty. They never did answer my question, just said a few things I can't repeat and then hung up on me.

Call no answer.

Picked up dead air

They are SPAM! They Robocall and say they are from google ranking, yahoo, and others stating they tried calling several times and it is IMPERATIVE you stay on the line and take the call in order to get top ranking on search engines. TOTAL BS! They are SPAM and hang up asap.

As soon as I said my name they hung up ? Scam from a fake Google Rep !

336-290-7961 called and just heard dead air

A very aggressive telemarketer with some line about Google, Yahoo, etc. When I told the guy I was not buying he started to shout at me. I am adding that number to my call blocker app.

Some unsolicited robocall from "John with your online listing specialist. It is urgent we talk to the business owner"

Scam/spam telemarketers. Just hand up and block the number.

Caller ID shows "Burlington, NC".  No message left.

Got call, said it was John from google, yahoo & bing. Went on about something to do with my business ad on line. The second automated voice mentioned something abou selling a web page... I hung up.
What [***] has such little time that he can create a robocall line to annoy hard working people?

again.  If it's Google we should consider a class action suit against them for harassment and endangerment. I don't feel safe using Google now that I get this rogue calls , 100's of them a month.  caller id lists that phone number, no text.

Phone rang 2 times and then hung up. When I dialed it back a recording said to press 1 to add this number to my do-not-call list. Nothing else.

same as all these other postings. I have had dozen's of calls from this company. It's time to put a stop to these people. who knows what we can all do to make their life miserable. Who do we complain to?

I received an automated call from 336-290-7961 that said that they were in charge of my listing on Google and Yahoo and then the most stupid person I've spoken to in about 5 years came on the line. I asked him if he worked for Google. He got irritated instantly and said "What kind of question is that?" I told him that it was a very simple question asked of him in English. He stammered and then tried to formulate some kind of response and mumbled a bit, so I asked him again. Again he wouldn't answer me so I told him to put me on their permanent do not call me for the rest of their LIFE list and told him to stop being a smart ass. Nobody called back immediately so I imagine that he recognized that he was both a smart [***] and a moron.

What good is the NSA? What good is the FCC? Apparently google doesn't have enough attorneys and money to put a stop to this. It makes their company look real good. They must like the negative feedback on their company. They are responsible, in my opinion, for harassing my business. They have these numbers that we all have been called from, and they refuse to do anything about it. In my opinion, they must be getting a kickback. No one would allow bad publicity for their company.

This is a US call, not international.  Google could and should prosecute. Why don't they?

They called.  I didn't answer cuz i knew what it was.  They are BLOCKED!!

They called - I didn't answer - I blocked.  Apparently another google placement scam.

This individual has called multiple times. Each time he has been extremely rude. The first time he called, when I said the business no longer existed and that I didn't need the listing to be renewed, he said: "Well, that's unfortunate" and then hung up. Today at around 12:30 he called, I said again that the business no longer existed and he said "Ah, it didn't work out, huh" and I said "That's not necessarily true" and he immediately hung up. I was actually in the middle of asking what exactly I needed to to do to make sure it was removed from the listing so that I didn't get another call. But, of course, I couldn't because he hung up. I think his name was Rob or Rod, something like that. I called the number to see if I could get his name and speak to a supervisor, but my only option was to press 1 to be removed from the calling list, which I did. I wish I hadn't he would call again and I could get his name.
