the only people i've noticed forcing their views on "you and your children" are churces and the uniformed that seemed to be obsessed with taking away the rights of american citizens.

Yep same as everyone here is saying. I never signed up for this call list and I want to see a class action! this is crap I don't have time for. In the mean time I txt. them back and said: do not call, txt., and stop. That is where I stand. Sue them!

I find it infuriating that these groups can contact me thru my cell phone to solicit their right wing agenda.

This person or group manages to text me without showing their phone number. It shows an email of nc@voteoutbarakobama.com. I do not know who these people are and on searching found no such web site exists. I cannot find record of who they are or how they got my number to contact me to begin with. I got a text telling me to call 336-447-3857 to 'listen' to something in regards to blocking gay marriage in this state.

I will not call that number but searched it and found others who had identified the number for the same reasons.

1st, I did not give my number to ANY political group to contact me. Not on the right or the left. I do not use my phone for that. How these people got my number or thought they had any right to contact me is beyond me.

2nd, I do not like ANY company or person thinking that have any legal right to blindly contact me to suggest me vote one way or another on ANY topic. I do my own homework and research before I vote and do NOT need a stranger deciding for me.

3rd, My number IS on the 'do not call registry' and I am very careful to not give out my number and to double check the fine print on any web site that asks me to enter it. I make sure I do not accidentally allow some box to stay check marked without reading it. I am uber careful that way and this is the 3rd time in 10 years I got this kind of spam message on my phone. Showing how careful I am....

So..who ever you are... you are breaking the law and I texted back for you to remove me from your list. If you don't....trust me... I DO know all the proper authorities to turn you, your email and phone number  over to!

i honestly didnt have a view on gay marriage to begin with,but i got a text saying"do not let gays force their views on you and your children" . this did upset me a bit,for the simple fact that i am gay and  dont and will never force someone else who isnt to do anything.. come on marriage? their is no such thing as marriage anymore,you have people marrying buildings,food,and god only knows what else.And yes i consider myself to be a follower of christ also.but i dont go around pushing the bible or my views of it on anyone just the same.
How this country is taking away our rights one by one and invading our privacy just like the text or phone call that allot of us got this morning is far more important than who is marrying who.
simply put,unlike the caller from 336-447-3857 im not trying to push anything on anyone..that is what they say here in the south" THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK"
But all in all,this is the type of thing that would make me go out and vote,and my vote would honestly not be supporting people that force their opinions on others,just like the above mentioned.

So much time, energy and money spent to deny equal civil rights to all. What a travesty!  When you phone the number back there is only a pre-recorded message... no way to get in touch with them. What cowards these bigots are.

I got the same spam text message everyone else got from these bigots.

The only thing they did was remind me I need to go and vote against their hateful amendment Tuesday, thanks for the reminder.

I deleted the no. Thanks for putting it out there. I will fill out one of my forms for the Attorney generals office for the do not call list. It is a 10,000.00 fine

i got an unwanted text from this address. i googled it and they are coming from a known group of spammers called CC advertising
