A woman called me a few minutes ago (11:30) stating "you have an outstanding balance on your capital one account of 1,000 dollars). I knew i didnt owe them so i asked "can't i take care of it online?" she said "no. you will need some type of representation". i said "i'll take care of it" but she kept saying how do you plan on doing that?" so i hung up. when i tried to call back it rang busy several times. Thats when i decided to google the number.

Tired of this number ringing my phone and when I return the call the phone is busy

336 is NOT a wilmington area code. I have gotten such a call and have friends all over the state of north carolina.

I got a call from this number and when I called it back it doesn't ring but takes a couple of seconds and then a busy signal comes up.  I live in the 336 area code so I assumed it was local but apparently not.

They keep calling me. It's always the same guy, he sounds young. He has called my father (who I haven't spoken to in years) also.  He gets mad when I hang up on him and calls back repeatedly. hmmm..

My wife said that someone lady just called and asked for me. When she told her that I was not there, the lady just hung up. We tried to call the number back, but it constantly rang. I tried again and it was busy. Very shady.

Woman called asked to speak to me. When I replied "speaking" she asked me to hold on she had a call for me. I just hung up. When I called the number back I got a fast busy signal.

I get this call every other day!! First she asks for me as if she's a friend, she's even call my inlaws. I've try to call back and the same thing happens to me I get fast busy signal!! I wish I could block her.

This number had called me several times and never left a message.  I was unable to answer it because I was at work.  I tried calling back and got a busy tone when I tried calling back.  An associated number that I had gotten another call from once I blocked it is 336-792-4498.

Just received a call from this number. I don't answer if I don't recognize the number. After reading these posts, I'm glad I didn't.

Got a call from ARS.  This has happened numerous times.  At first they just asked for "Antonio".  I explained that my husband had died 15 years ago.  They just kept on asking questions.  I don't owe anyone for anything and any debts we had when my husband was alive have long since been taken care of - not that we had any reason for a debt collector to be calling.  When my daughter answered the phone and told them he had passed away, they told her to "prove it".  They just called me again yesterday and I let loose with -  what is your name?  Who do you work for - the name of the company?  What is this regarding? She said it was personal for Antonio.  I then told her again that he had died 15 years ago and how badly they made my daughter feel by calling and asking her to prove it.  Of course, they don't care about your feelings.  I told her "Shame on you!!! Don't you ever call this number again!!"  At this point I was screaming into the phone and I disconnected from them.   Their number this time was 336-308-8837.  It doesn't do any good to block a number because they just call you from a different one.  I too live in this area code, but cannot find this company locally.

This company just got our phone number calling and he said that his name was Chris and he was looking g for someone who I've never heard of.
