Continuous calling several times a day over several weeks with no messages left on answering machine. In violation of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692-1692p § 806. Harassment or abuse (5) Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number.
(6) ...placement of telephone calls without meaningful disclosure of the caller’s identity.

I have received 5 calls from this number this morning.  It is 10 am now.  I have picked up the phone every time.  They say they have an important message and then music begins to play.  I waited 3 minutes one time and no one came on.  Twice, there was no message.  The last time I left the phone open while I worked on my computer and they disconnected after a couple of minutes.  This is very uncomfortable and should be addressed.

I am getting hammered by calls from this number and have no idea why.  I have loans with Wachovia, but they are payed every month.

I think it is Wachovia too. I also have a loan at Wachovia and when they changed my account number I was not set up for auto billing and had to make a payment over the phone last month. It's time to pay again. Thanks for the info.
