CONTRACT FRAUD SCHEME!!!

A "Jim Casey" called me from this number (337)205-8173 and wanted to solicit my company for doing a 5 year contract with the government at a cost of $7,500 one time cost payed to him. He says he works for a company called Service GSA in Louisianna.

If understand correctly, there is no fee to bid for government contracts. This guy wants to screw people out of a lot of money. Even after I told him I did not have that kind of funding, he still continued to spew his lousy pig speak scam.

Word to the wise, look into every single contract and READ THE FINE PRINT. If they rush you, then they are fakes who should be reported here and elsewhere (such as www.ripoffreport.com) as I am doing. A consious citizen can stop pig companies by exposing them and their fraud.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!!!

Just got a "Jim Casey" call from this guy, since I got to see the report above ^ ^ ^ before picking up the phone was able to say emphatically NO we DO NOT work with the GSA, which made the caller go away quickly.

Yes "Jim Casey" from 337-205-8173 just called and left a message on my VM. Watch out for this guy.

Yes, I started my consulting group about a year ago.  Today I got a call from this Jim Casey 337-205-8173 asking to help me get a 5 year contract with GSA for a fee of $7 ,500. I'm very lucky to have seen these posts, thanks guys!!!

Same here as everyone else said.....I wonder if this guy ever had a real job, and not a criminal wanna be..

Just got the same call from same guy, glad I checked this and saw the messages before taking our paperwork to our account.

We got a call at our place of business, same claim-- said all we had to do is sign up with him and we would earn 500k to 2 million-- he claimed to be from a company called Contract Award Services who actually have a website if you google it.

Just got the call from "Jim Casey" and thank you folks for this chain!

Just got a call, and when I identified myself as an employee for a government agency, he let me know that he definitely got a wrong number.

Too bad the "DO NOT CALL LIST" really doesn't do anything to stop these annoying calls, either for Business or Personal
I let these unknown numbers go to voice mail - then I check with this list to confirm.

On a whim I Googled "Jim Casey GSA" and found this thread before I called him back.  Thanks all!  I'll steer clear of this scam.

He just called asking for my boss.  Scary, because he knew my boss' exact name, not the "alternative" name we use for the public.  Anyway, I'm a professional phone screener, so he didn't get anywhere with me.  But you can tell he rehearses his "game show host" voice.  can you say cheesy ?

This person has nothing to do with GSA in Louisiana ... It is not an actively registered business ... It was listed in someone else's name.  IT'S FRAUD

Got one too, but he claimed to be from GPE.

"Jim" also called and claimed to be from GPE and wanted to talk to the president about a 5 year GSA contract. He was very matter of fact so I googled him & his number, the same (337) 205-8173, and found this thread. Thankfully the internet saved the time and hassle. Although, I may call him back and string him along for a while just to have some fun.
