They call every day! Never leave a message.

They even call me at work and left a message with my boss saying that it is a legal matter.....i have done nothing wrong so have no idea what the legal matter could be.... but honestly think it is a scam

I think it is a hoax

It is a scam.  If you had a "legal matter", you would receive notification of this via USPS snail mail, and via process server, not through a phone call to your boss - which violates the FDCPA, btw.

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.
For extortion Scam Operations, file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,FTC & FCC..

And folks should consider looking at maybe getting call blocking device or phone....you can Google them and many are around $60 or so.

Indian man, said his name is Chris Conner, threatening me with law suit that he can't tell me about. very rude. calling and harassing me.

Just got a call and they left a message.  Said his name was Sean Andrews, but he had a thick Indian accent.  Blah, blah, blah...legal matter and wished me good luck if I did not call him...

Got a call saying from law firm Sanchez in LA.  The number they called from is 1-337-873-1740.  Saying something about me being charges with a theft or fraud to steal money.  Said something about American Cash and back in Ost. 2, 2012.  Tryed to find out more about it and then the guy by name of Jason gets very rude.  I am telling him that I know nothing of any outstanding loan.  That I have taken care of any loans that I had.  He gets rude and threatens me with arrest, coming to my job, and all kind of threats and tells me to get attorney.  I told him that I wanted something in writing and he gets very rude and then hangs up.

To all who got this calls from an Indian man.
They are FRAUD don't believe nothing they say to you.
If by any change you did a loan on the internet . You must read your terms and conditions policy. It says your information will be pass to other lenders. So that's how these guys got your info and are trying to use it against you. Trust me I got a loan in line and all my info was sent to a lot of lenders.
The biggest mistake ever , I'll never do it again. A lesson learn these Indian guys are very much FRAUD.
The FBI are on them! No need to worry about them just tell them you will call the FBI on them. My lawyer even try to get their ID number from there Company they refuse to give it to her. They call her a [***] and hang up on her she call back and told them the FBI are tabing there phone calls as they speak which they were than minutes later they got out of that line and from this very moment that phone number still busy off the line. It's a scam for sure.
One thing for sure they will be caught.

These [***] are callings repeatedly as I'm typing this. They don't say anything they just hang up.

Im gonna curse these [***] out. Cooking dinner for my family and I have enough legal issues im going through at the moment and issues with a company not paying me for almost two months now! Im done and I wish they would get in contact with my lawyer. Ill give them the number and see them in court!

I got the same call today claiming to be from the Sanchez Law Firm.  Funny thing is when I google the law firm found out they were in Lake Charles, La.  Which is where I live.  I called the law firm and they informed me this was a scam.  The law firm has filed a complaint with the local Sheriff's Office and advised me to do the same.  I called the Sheriff's office and they came out and talked to me.  Under no circumstances should any one give out info.  All they want is your info to take money away from you.

This company keeps calling me and my job saying that I am being sued and to have my criminal attorney contact them. They called my cell phone  35 times in a 40 minute period. They also leave threatening messages on my voicemail at work. Luckily all my calls at work are recorded.

This number has called me six time and left two voicemails just this morning. They even had the last four of social. I was sure it was a scam cuz I know I didn't do anything but it's still scary. If they have my last four do they have the whole thing?

I just received that same call.  He also did not say who he worked for and what the matter was about.  So I guess it sounds like a scam.

I received a phone call from this number 3378431740 on my voicemail identifying himself as Chris Conner with a thick Indian accent. He did not say who he was working for or the purpose of his call   All he said was it was important for me or my attorney to cl him and if not then he wishes me luck with my situation.  Very rude too.  

They call every single day back to back several times. They tell u it is a legal matter and are very rude and hateful when u tell them u will contact the police. I called the number back and asked them which law firm they were with and they say it is sanchez law firm...its about payday loans that u don't have and never have had. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION  especially your banking information.

Got a call from 337-873-1740 threatening me. Saying I'm going to jail for 30 days b/c I failed to pay back a loan of 498.32 from US Cash Lending. Never heard of either one of them and I would have to pay eight thousands in attorney fees, bank fees, and court cost. He also threaten me with going to my job with a warrant for my arrest. I told him to go ahead b/c I don't know what he is talking about and I don't have nor had a loan from them. I could barely understand anything he was saying and he was getting angry. Because I kept asking him to repeat the information and I was asking the same question over and over again. ONLY B/C I DON'T KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT WHAT A DONKEY.
