this person called me to say he was processing legal documents to serve me because of a civil minor complaint. i asked him , what he was talking about, he said i would have to call a legal firm phone 888-863-91 25 i called the number and a recording came on saying orange consulting firm then pressed o and someone answered hold on, then loud music came on and off and i waited for 15min. then i disconnected, sounds like a scam .... If anyone has any information on these numbers please leave co.

They just called me and asked when i'd be home to accept legal documents.  I said you have the wrong number and the guy said that I will be prosecuted for falsifying information.  What an idiot!

Says UPS on caller ID.  Watch out for whoever this is - scam alert!

Number called me 20 times within the last 24 hours. Would not leave messages. Called number back, got VM each time. When I finally got through, I spoke with a man named Mike Costa, who was incredibly rude and insulting. They claimed I was the named person in a legal dispute, court documents sealed so that the only thing anyone could see was my name and number. I searched this and found other questionable calls and asked him about it - said I believed it was a scam, would not comply. Mike then started personally attacking me to get me to call the "legal firm." Was given 888-863-9125. Per the above notes, I asked him if this was for Orange Consulting Firm. He said no, said he had never heard of that company. I read off the above note and he said "some people who owe money and are in legal trouble are just going to lie to make it look like we're the bad guys." Very interesting! He then stated that if I called that number, I'd be connected with a secretary who would choose one of six legal firms to transfer me to, depending on the "severity of the case." I spoke with Mike at length, mainly asking him to remove my number from whatever list they're using because I know this is a scam. It has all the signs of being a phantom company. He was very argumentative and ended up hanging up on me, threatening to send the police to deliver my legal documents (which isn't even how that works..).

I called this number, spoke with a secretary who would not give out her name. The IVR on that line DID say Orange Consulting Firm. She then transferred me to a "claim administrator" who said they needed to verify my info to proceed. I refused to give them any info up front. They then gave me my name, but with a wrong middle initial. I told them it was incorrect but refused to give them the right answer. They then gave me a date of birth that was not my own. Again, told them it was wrong, refused to give them my right dob. At this point, I was feeling confident it was a scam. He said that maybe it was another person by my name? My last name is unique and only two people in the entire world have it - I told him that, and he immediately hung up.

Now I've tried calling back the 339 number and no one is answering at all. Very suspicious

Received several calls the last few days from this number. Did not answer. The last call came a few minutes ago. This time they left a 4 second recording. It sounded like the call came from outside as all I heard was wind blowing.

this number just called me, some agency or firm, but that was it.  the dialer hung up.  decided to check the number for any leads pertaining to any legit reason, thanksfully found this site

These guys just don't give up. They keep calling. Normally at 11;00 AM pacific. Today I got 54 seconds of background noise.

this number just called my house looking for me stating that I had to go be seen in front of a judge some kind of legal mumbo jumbo obviously I didn't buy it because I would be aware of any legal action or what not taken against me definitely a scam

SHE, Called today on a cell phone.  Don't care about HER name.  Call was During the afternoon and SHE asked for someone with my first name.  Phone was handed to me and a female immediately told me I was being sued and that I should be concerned about it.  I replied, if someone was being sued it surely could'nt be me, that I don't have any money to go after and hung up.  This is the only time we've gotten a call on my child's cell phone.

I called and quick search on the internet because I have no money, and I owe money to anyone. And thanks to your comments knew it was a scam. Do not give information to anyone by phone. Many Thanks.

My brother called me to day and some was  looking for me.He said that were going to take me to court His name he say was Mike Costa I was scared but after reading the post that  I looked up on  my table  it really help me  so thank you for all your help

Received call from this number asking me if I knew a certain person. I said yes, and they told me to let him know he has a legal complaint against him and to call the "legal firm" at (888) 863-9125 and reference a claim # to be directed to the appropriate agent... And was told that if he didn't call within 24 hrs, they were going to start serving him legal docs. I asked him for his name and said it was Bob Thomas from United Processing Services. I asked what was the name of the legal firm and he said he didn't know because they're just the third party assigned to get a hold of clients. I also asked why don't they call the person directly and notify them of this "legal matter" themselves, and he said they're just a third party that have been given phone numbers with no names and calling all contacts and references to get this message to the appropriate person... What the funk?? I wish I had the time to [***] with these people all day and screw the over.... Don't fall for this [***]... TOTAL SCAM!!!

What can be done to stop them!  They have been calling my ex wife (we have been divorced for 10 years now), her family and my family.

Don't pick up the phone if you don't recognize the number or caller ID. If it's legitimate, they will leave a message. The other option is to answer the call and then immediately hang up. I do that all the time, and it works.

Received a call from this number, person said that I was going to be having papers filed against me, either civil or criminal, in court and I needed to contact the legal firm representing me.  I told her that's not how this works and if she doesn't understand the legal system, perhaps she should find a new job.  She told me to have fun in court since I wouldn't listen to her and wouldn't take the phone number of the firm, and then firmly hung up.  When I tried to call back, received a phone message that the user's mailbox number was full.
