Got a call from this number on my cell phone stating the IRS was bringing suit against me. SCAM of course.

Call stating IRS lawsuit. Called back and # was busy. Scam. I dont owe IRS anything. would be more convincing if they called during taxes. 13462048362 TX area code.

Just got a voicemail from 346-204-8362 saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call this number right away.  The automated voice did not say my name or address.

I got a call and a voicemail from 346-204-8362 ,the automated voice did not say my name or address,but saying the IRS was filing a lawsuit against me and to call this number back.I  don't owe IRS anything,SCAM of course!

I got this call yesterday as well. Kind of shook me there for a minute.

Called me yesterday.  Said they were filing a lawsuit.

Got a call from 346-204-8362 this morning saying they were from the IRS and that suit was being filed against me for defrauding the IRS. She said an arrest warrant had been issued in my name and if I didn't pay at least half of the amount and set up a payment plan for the rest, a sheriff would arrive at my house in 15 minutes to arrest me. I knew it was a scam or two reasons: I don't owe anything to the IRS, and when I asked what county the arrest warrant had been issued in, she was unable to tell me. It definitely shook me for a while but after reporting it to local police and the IRS, I have been assured it's a scam. Definitely scary that while she didn't have updated information on me, she did have an old address from where I lived when I was in college.

Scam-do not answer, say they are from the IRS

I also received call from 346-204*8362. called them back and who ever answered couldn't even speak english. IRS does not call you, they send letters through the mail. Don't fall for this.

Scam.  #1 The IRS does not call.  #2 The use of a computer-generated voice suggests the callers are probably masking a foreign accent.  #3 The IRS does not call.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Received a recorded call in a female voice saying she is with the IRS and that a law suite was being insued.  Appears to be a SCAM

I also received a message from the same number which initially gave me a start but was suspicious that the IRS would communicate such a message via phone.
What bothers me is that the first reports of this scam came in nearly a week ago and they are still operating. I reported it to the Federal Trade Commission - hopefully all these complaints will lead to some action but in the meantime be vigilant.

Hello, this call is officially a final notice from IRS Internal revenue service the reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 346-204-8362 I repeat 346-204-8362 Thank you?

Called & left a message that they are the IRS & have a lawsuit against me.

Rec'd this call on an already stressful day.

Voice mail (aggressive, threateng a lawsuit from the IRS).   I didn't bother returnig the call.

I was shocked too. I know I did not owe IRs anything, but stupid me I gave my address other. Now I will be waiting for scam IRS mail in my mailbox. While I was talking to the guy I quickly openened my computer and typed the number then thank God I saw your post. Thank you guys so much
