IRS Scam.  Calling from overseas.  left Robo call saying to call back the IRS department because of a pending lawsuit.  I called back and had the guy on the phone for about 10 minutes.  He kept reciting words of wisdom to me.  I asked for the IRS Case number which he gave me some number so I checked with IRS and it's not valid.
DONT BE FOOLED AND DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE LOSERS!

Received a call from 346-240-0486 with an automated message about an IRS lawsuit and to call the number back. I called back to put an end to the this crap (as the IRS does not call people) and stop these nuisance calls. When I called back I got a message that calls were being forwarded to a local Chicago phone number, I called that number and the guy that answered was confused by all this and said that he had received a similar call just a little bit ago and told the caller he had no idea as to why his phone number was being used, just as he told me..... makes me wonder.
This is a scam of some sort.... The IRS does not call people, they only contact you by mail at first

Received multiple calls today from this number, definitely an IRS scam. Be aware. I refuse to call back because it probably won't stop their auto dialer from calling me anyway.

Got 2 calls from this number about 5 hours apart. Total scam. Didn't call the number back because I didn't want them using my number in some type of identity theft scam, or any other scam. Totally have been getting phony e mails from my bank as well trying to access my account.
IT's THE HOLIDAY SEASON FOLKS !!!!! DONT FALL FOR IT!!!!!!

got 2 of these call so far today 12/3/15. did not answer. voice mail says;

"..uit pending against you. for more information call, 346-240-0486."

the recording on my voice mail starts in the middle of the word SUIT, I'm assuming. I did not call it back. I googled and came here.

Received two messages this morning to URGENTLY call back and the person on the phone could barely speak English and said it was the Internal Revenue Service and that I was being sued.  Googled and found this blog, reporting it to add to the list!

Have received four phone calls with 4 different phone numbers all stating the same the IRS  is looking for me  need me to call them immediately

Received two phone calls today and let them go to voicemail because didn't recognize the number. VM was the same as what the others reported. Will not be calling them back and have blocked the number.

Five calls in five days stating I was being sued by IRS and told to call 346 240 0486. total scam. Did not call back.

Yep. Me, too. First they called at 5 am, woke me and the wife up. I hung up on them. Then they called again at 8 am, but my recording device got it at about the words "...uit pending...". TOTAL BOGUS B.S.!

received this call again today, looking at my phone this number has called me a total of 6 times - when I answer this time , it was automated stating that I was being sued by IRS . Really??? does these fools think the IRS would leave a stupid message  like this ?  my advise to the callers - GET A JOB OR GET A LIFE .

I received the same recorded call as others here a few minutes ago. Called them back from a different line to get more information to use in filing a report with police, (I knew it was obviously a scam). Phone rang and rang and no one answered.

i been getting calls from this # all week i decide to call today, all day i been calling but no answer,and yea IRS  contact people by mail only,,also i been getting call from this 877 397 0619.same no answer

Received three calls in two days from these numbers: 346-240-0486, 202-803-4318, 832-251-7350.  All contained the same recorded message regarding an IRS lawsuit.
