i was told i was going to jail, if i didn't pay him money , but his accent was so thick i couldn't understand all he was saying

same thing happened to me . i reported the call to my local authories. and my phone company to have it blocked.

I just received the same call and have blocked the number.  this is not the first time and I told them before the FBI was involved due to Fraud against me but they don't listen.  they are crooks trust me

Called treating my life my family if did not listen to them said they know where I live gave me my address and gave me time limit or they would hurt me and my children they said they were agents collecting debts but never could understand their language very heavy accents

I was told I was going to jail and be a warrant.I ask him for what  loan what is the name of the company.He said I am dumb I told him the call is traced he hung up.I did a call trace

Just got the same call anyone tryed to mess with them they just called 3 times the last time i pick it up and said that the job is done but there's blood everywhere where's where you going to put my money lmao

the number calls and hangs up or calls and tries to pull the "you'e going to jail if i dont hear from you" skit. I dont answer and block their calls because the numbers always change

These people are crazy. Just called me three times. I told them the give me their info and I will have my lawyer contact them, they said i don't need their info just give them the lawyer name.  So I hung up they keep f*****g with people like we stupid. non-english speaking m*****f*****s......

Told me to call immediately about a past debt and warrant at the court house, I did not call them back and won't

This number has kept calling my wife constantly telling her she owes the IRS over $2000 and she could be jailed. My wife blocked the # but then received a call from a number which matched our local sheriff office but still with the same heavy accent Indian guy speaking .He even mentioned an officer's name that she was to see today to get "served".My daughter called the same sheriff office and actually got a hold of the actual sheriff who did not know anything about this call.This scammer apparently is able to hide his number and put false ones in its place. Beware

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
