Scam company using spoofed numbers to try and either sell you an advanced fee loan.

Foreign sounding man claiming to be with State Medical Dept. When asked which state, replied Okla (my state). Notifying me about compensation for past surgery (I've had none). I said he had wrong person, but he continued asking about other drugs or procedures. He hung up after several answers of no. Have no idea what the scam is, but am sure there's one there. The # he called from is a wireless phone.

I also received pretty much the same call on my son's phone. He had a strong Indian accent. He said his name was Peter Williams calling from Medical Dept in Georgia. He told me I could be compensated for the blood thinner I've been on. I told him I wasn't on blood thinner. He then asked about a certain medicine I had when I had bladder surgery - I didn't have... He finally said ok and hung up.

Got a call from a foreign sounding guy from this New York number. When I received the call, it sounded like a machine was on the other line at first. He asked for Ben. When I told him he had the wrong number he hung up immediately on me.

Indian accent (dot, not feather), but obviously a robo call from the delay in connecting after saying "Hello" and boiler-room background noise.  When he asked for one of us by name, I answered in a foreign language, and he hung up.

just got a call from this number and let my answering machine pick it up but then hung up before my outgoing message could finish playing

when answered no one spoke. just used my minuets up.

Call on my work cell .   tons of background noise.  I said hello, he said hello .    Heavy Indian accent  no idea what he was saying, no idea what he was saying.  I hung up.

Honestly I have no idea what the point is except maybe "denial of service" on Americans.    We all spend hours a year on this crap.   I have played along (after trying the request to be removed) and no matter what I answer (yes I am in debt, yes I'd like to lower my interest, etc etc) they always hang up (sometimes after insulting me).   What is the point?
