Unsolicited call at June 9, 2010 at 5:13pm.  Caller ID:  NWYRCYZN14 NY.

"Carpet Care" of Long Beach is who the call center witch said she was calling for. Wasn't a carpet company in Long Beach fined $10,000 in 2008 for this? I'm going to report them to DoNotCall.gov

Could not file the complaint on DoNotCall.gov because I don't have the company's 'real' phone number. Next time I'm going to act very happy, but say I'm busy. Then I'm going to ask for the company's phone number so that I can call them later.

So...didnt answer but wonder what this was for. Check out the crazy caller id name. What up with that??
You know, I heard that there is some telemarketting services that off software where the business can have caller id appears as anything they want....meaning..either or both the callers name or number that you see could be fake.

Rec'd call from NY 347-298-1357, June 9th. I receive many calls from "carpet care". Reported to the do not call complaint site several years ago. Hasn't stopped them. It seems to be a telemarketing for numerous carpet cleaning companies that pay them to call.

Received a hang up call from this number on 6/16, origin showed New York, NY . . . caller/machine stayed on long enough so I incurred a transcription charge.  Arrrggghhhh!

I have received several calls regarding carpeting cleaning .... most go to voicemail
But when I am able to receive it says press 2 to have number removed from list ..
I have done this several times including today and still get calls

Received call at 11:30 am 6/22/2010.  Caller ID identifies the company as...wait for it...wait for it..."NWYRCYZN14   NY". Reporting to donotcall.gov.

Unsolicited call from a prerecorded message! Telemarketer should be fined.

I am here in Los Angeles.  Have received calls from them - never left message.

Received call but did not answer.  ID showed repeat of phone number.  No message left.  If ID does not show something I am expecting or unknown, unavailable, private caller or unrecognized number to me, I refuse to answer and obviously, this is another number I don't want to answer.

I had a call from this number at 9.00 am.

I wasn't pleased

I've received numerous calls, on my cell phone, and when I respond, there is no one on the line!

Can't this be stopped?  I've even tried calling back.  No response!

I did not pick up.

Call almost daily!  I am busy caring for a very ill husband and really too busy to answer these every morning calls.  I try to stop it but they say message box is full and unable to take messages.  They want to clean carpets , drapes,etc.

1)  report them to the DoNotCall site - https://www.donotcall.gov/
If your cell phone isn't on the list, register it.  Yes, the list does accept cell phones.  Mine has been on it since the day I got it.  

This won't help immediately.  There are too many pests and not enough FTC staff to get them all.  

2)  Assign the pest a "no ring" ring tone.  That won't stop the calls, but it will keep them from interrupting your day.

I got a call from them today 8/26 at around three. I'm in LA and i missed it and they didnt leave a message but i wanted to know who it was. thx for the infor guys.
