These people are scam artist. I contacted cashnetusa. And they sent me a nice email reporting they are investagating these claims of fraud against them and the consumers. the oringal # was dis connected 347-735-5148. I called one of ths companies who processed the pymts and requested a refund. only after that did they call me again asking why I asked for a refund I said if you are who you say you are then I want the paper work in 48 hrs!!! Attorney Sherry Snyder yea right said she woul,d call me back in 10-15mins that was over and hr ago. going to try the # in  few days to see if it was disconnected.

Got the same type of call, but the guy used the name Mike Davis.  Let him know, that I didn't owe them any money, that the only people I owe money to is the mortgage company on my house.  He got all beside himself when I kept asking him questions, like what company he was from, and if he had sent anything in writing.  Haven't heard back from him since I told him if he called again that I was going to record the conversation and that I was going to call the police.   I did set up alerts on my SSN to keep an eye on if anyone tried to do anything with it.

I just got a call at work from these people and his name was Kevin Lloyd (thick middle eastern accent) and would not tell me who I supposedly owed money to but that it was a cash advance place.  I told them I did not owe money and he said I was being sued blah blah blah,  He wanted a voided check and my drivers license faxed to him.  I told them that I was going to sue them and he said he was going to  harass my employer.  Does any one have any more on these people.  I don't owe any money to a cash advance place and am wondering how they got my work number.

I just got a call from Mike Davis also. I have no intention of talking to him. He is claiming that he will come to my work and cause trouble. He has my address and SSN but was using my maiden name.

Yeah, just got a call from Officer John Smith!  When I called him on the fact that it was a scam, he asked if I was the woman that he called for...which I wasn't...but we have all been getting these calls.  So, I dialed *67 and kept calling him back until he answered...and when he did, he said he was someone else entirely...from a different company!  These people need to be busted bad!  I thank God that I had the sense not to get freaked out by this crap!!!

Received a call from "Mike Davis" (yeah right).  He said that I haven't bothered to return his calls and my case has been filed under section 9, chapter 19 and that my credit would be black listed.  He said if I wanted more information about this case to call him back at 347-332-2450.  I have not received anything in writing from anyone stating that I owe money.  What exactly are we supposed to do about these crooks?  I will not speak with him so he can call all he wants!

Received this phone call from an indian gentleman claiming too be from the international order of police and investigating my ss# for a very serious claim-I am sick and tired of these ppl as there is definitely a ring of them across the country scamming people out of money.....Have received calls from New York, Atlanta, California, Texas, and Canada. NOW the internet police need too investigate these people for defrauding....................

Mike Davis also called me yesterday.  Said I owed Cash Advance America.  I don't.  Amazing how much personal information he has on me. I have not received anything in writing from anyone stating that I owe money.

I received a call yesterday from this number as well.  Strong middle eastern accent, hard to understand.  Said something about owing money to a financial company and that either I or my attorney needed to contact them to settle this matter.  Used my maiden name of 20 years ago, quoted my social security number on my answering macchine.  I don't owe a financial company from over 20 years ago, they are not supposed to quote any financial, personal or collection information on an answering machine in case they have the wrong number.  My answering machine does NOT identify who we are.  I am contacting our local sherrifs department to report.

I got calls today from 347-332-2450, a Mr. John Smith whom I suspect is from Mumbay or Calcuta or Bangalor India.  I could hear call center noises in the background.  Same thing about chapter 9, PP 19 blah blah blah.  He had everything, SSN, bank account #, address, work number.

The back suggests I close my account and open a new one right away.  I think I will.

Person with Nigerian accent saying he is an officer telling me he is going to show up on my doorstep watch and see. I asked him to stop calling me and he keeps calling stating he is coming after me. I try to call back and the line is busy. He refuses to talk to me. Now I'm freakin' out over this bad.
