MasterCard phishing scam, don't give account number out

Missed call at 2:18am!

Missed call 3:24 am

Ignored their call at 3:45am EST.

told me my mastercard has been locked.  press "1" to speak to fraud claims representative.
called back and heard baby crying in background
message that this mailbox was full and could not take messages
what freaks are getting into our personal accounts...disgusting

called today at 9:45 AM

Called at 2:10 am & said my debit card had been deactivated ... Message said to press (1) to reactivate..   I knew this had to be some kind of a scam... I called the number back & it took me to Joe Smoe's mailbox ( not real name) it said the mailbox of Joe Smoe was full & to please try the call again later...

This caller wanted my credit card numbers.  I disconnected as I fee it is a scam to get ID.

Call came in on my husbands cell. Scammers saying your mastercard is locked so they can get your card number. Scammers don't even give it a break on a Sunday anymore.

Just got the same call. Said my debit card has been deactivated. Almost pressed 1 just to jerk their chain. I don't own a debit card.  Joke is on them. Being a Sunday I didn't have time to jerk with them. Would have given them a # of 1234567890.  Tired of getting calls from the people who want to know if I had a mesh implant too. I mess with them telling them I've had boob implants that one goes pretty far. Hilarious!

just received the same call / message and hung up. scam all the way.

received same call at 10:38pm

Called a relatives phone about my credit card being locked. I called this number and it has been disconnected. SCAM!

Same call - scam - be careful..  
called back the # and it was disconnected - wonder how they can still dial out...

got call said debit card blocked rail 1 for help immediately hung up called bank gave info

recorded message said my Mastercard had been "locked"  and to press 1 to get it unlocked.  I hung up laughing

Prank call informed me my MC card was lost, although it did not cause much concern since I do not have MC card.

SCAM....tried to tell my mom they knew where she lived and they would come to her house and rob her. Luckily I was the one they were talking to and told them to bring their a** I would be waiting for them. stupid scammers trying to threaten me. So ridiculous....get a job like the rest of us!!!

Just got a call from this number with an automated voice saying "your master card has been locked" I do have one but that's not the company. I pressed 1 to "unlock it" I wanted to see what it was. then it asked for The 16 numbers on my card, so I hung up immediately!! Do not give this machine or person ANY of your INFO real companies don't ask for all the numbers not even the last 4 anymore. they have many other ways to find out if its you or not. This is a SCAM!!! I called it back to see where it went or who answered and it said "This number is no longer in service." I've seen other comments say it goes to a bogus voicemail like its a personal phone, it sounds like a person trying to steal credit card info to use. Please don't give them any of your info or they will screw you and let the people in your life know especially the elderly they can be too trusting with things like this.

I got a call and they said my 'merchant account had been locked' and to hit 1 to talk to someone.  since I don't have a merchant account thru Chase (which is who they CLAIM to be from) - I hung up - clear scam!!!
