Received call 5/16/14, I called it back right away and said it is no longer in service.  

Called me and did not leave a message.

Call received from "Unassigned" - No message left.  Web indicates from Bronx, NY

Did Google search of 347 338-3688 "Unassigned" - got aerial map of their location in the Bronx for those interested. They are on Cruger Ave, back end street Bronxdale Ave. While I couldn't get exact address, can give you info on surrounding streets, businesses and description of house (Google photograph 2013) & car in driveway.......maybe someone in area can post address so everyone can inundate them with unsolicited mail.

1. The house has a white or gray roof & the porch has a red roof.
2. There is a white car with a sunroof in driveway......2 doors away is a large parking lot with many of the same cars. (Dealership????)
3. Diagonally across street, on Cruger Ave., is the back end of a business called "Cube Smart, whose actual address may be on White Plains Rd.
4. Other surrounding streets Holland Ave.

If you pull up on map, select aerial view, and hit the + sign, you can get the picture. While the phone company does nothing to identify these people to us, maybe we can publish their locations and identify them via internet, so this can be stopped!!!!

Received a call from this number.  A woman with an accent asked about my gas service with PSE&G.  There was incredibly loud background noise.  She then asked if I was the person in charge of the gas bill.  I answered yes and then there were tones and the call dropped.  I tried calling the number and got a message that the number is not in service.  Probably some scammers.

I called PSE&G to report it and they seemed to not be interested in filing a report.  I really cannot stande PSE&G.  Dislike them even more now.

Called again and did not leave a message.

had the same experiences as others have described.  They wanted me to give them info off my PSE&G gas bill which I refused to do.  They now keep calling back and I just don't answer.

Called repeatedly on 07/01/2014. wanted to know pod Id on the gas bill. I didn't give the correct information and asked her whether this is fake call.  She hung up.

This is one of their new scam number we shut down last one and will do the same if we all help

This is how to stop them
Just keep calling number every chance you get THEY ARE FLIPPING OUT   the longer you keep them on phone will give them less time to mess with people we have successfully shut down many of these numbers by doing this back to them  
the best thing is to keep them on line as long as you can scam them back

Thanks for the posting, I have noticed this number several times on my caller ID, and yes when you call it back it does say the number in "not in service".  Thak you all for the heads up!

I received a call today from a woman with a very thick accent. She asked for my name. I suspected right away it was a scam. I told her not to ever call her again once she claimed she was calling about my PSEG bill. When I tried calling the number it was reported as no longer being in service. I'm calling 311 tomorrow when I get into the city and reporting it.

I have the entire 347 area code blocked due to many nuisance calls from this area so calls from 347 can't come through.

Sounded bogus - Person claimed that we were eligible for a discount.  English was second language of caller.
