- MarkIts the telephone version of spam, an Indian-Pakistani scam selling illegal prescription drugs. They use a "spoof" program that disguises their caller ID with a local address. I get at least two or three calls a week from these clowns - they've been calling me for years though I've never bought anything using my cell phone. Just wish AT&T would come up with security software to stop this nonsense!
- AceYeah--I just got a call--said hello 3 times and something said goodbye---I called the number back 3 times because I felt like cussing---but un fortunaltely the a--holes whatever is full---if it is another one of these drug scam things I like to play pranks back---I tell them the last time I oredered crack cocaine from you you ripped me off---lolololololololol

- JlpI also have been getting calls from this number for over a year there driving me nuts. Before they even get started I tell them I have asked over and over again for them not to call me they always hang up before I get it all out. I think next time I am going to answer and say that this call is being recorded then hello. Do you think they ill hang up first?
- CemoI get repeated calls from this !@#$%^T^&* number which says it is an 'online pharmacy' based in NYC, Brooklyn. Some SOB called 'Jack' (if that's his name, my name is Santa Claus!!) wants to sell massive doses of Vicodin, at bargain prices and without a doctor's prescription. . From his accent I think he's of Asian origin somewhere. 'Jack' won't provide the name and address of this online outfit and how he got our number here in Canada. On another call yesterday, I told 'Jack' that I'm contacting the drug enforcement authorities here and the New York state pharmacy board and that I have noted all their calls and will record any further contacts from them. How can such an outfit operate without some kind of authority to shut these guys down or at least check what dangerous stuff they're peddling?

- LISA| 1 replyThis middle eastern man call my work number at 4:30 a.m. and left a message in my voice mail said that his name was Morris, I guess like Morris the Cat!
He told me that if i didn't call him back the American Law Enforcement would come and arrest and seize everything i own. I hope that this sand n##### calls me back because we do have a legal dept and i will be reporting this joker the next time he calls. - Alfalfa replies to LISAThis is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:
