This number called and said I had a grant but asked me for a security deposit to get...

Had a call from this number claiming I had a Government grant to be paid to me for $7,000, but wanted to know if I could give them my credit card or debit card number for verification & asked me to pay $200 before receiving the grant for processing fees. When I asked them to give me info as to where there office was located, & that I wanted to verify the call was legit. The person got Irritated with me,became very rude,& told me he made a mistake & I was Not Eligible after all & hung up.

My wife received a call also telling her that she had been chosen to receive a government grant..and to call the number..3473890028..I typed in that number on my computer and came to this site..thanks for letting me know of this scam..unfortunately she didn't catch the name of who was calling

I received a call from Michelle  saying I was selected to receive  a federal grant  for   $7,000 and to call 347-389-0028 to verify my   identity so I  called  and spoke   with   Edward    Furlong    who     said I needed to pay $200 to verify they was sending the money to the right person, then I spoke to the    supervisor Jeff Young and told him i think this was a scame.. Was told to call back this number (347-389-0028) told I was able to get $7000 for school. I told them that I wanted it as a western union transfer, and they said I would need to send a $250 deposit. Informed them they had a lack of a soul, and hung up

This is such a scam number I called this number back and said I was the grant office and asked to speak to an american dude cused me out lol very professional.SCAMMERS.

I got a call from Michelle by saying that I was elected for 7000$ bla bla bla… gave me following number 3473890028… to call them and claim my money…I called the western union and greenmoneypak stories…I said if you are from government then send me money by check, answer was it's a big amount we can't…BIG LAIRS...
