I wasn't quite sure of the area code, but this must be the right one. It was a recording saying that the IRS has field a lawsuit against us. However, we have dealt with the IRS in the past and this is NOT how they work! There would have been letters first!

I had a call from an identified number that had a recoerded messgae claiming it is from IRS, adviced me to call 3473890029 or 347-389-0029 as soon as possible. After I called this number they told me that I should pay outstanding due to IRS fromm 2008 to 2013 and if I do not accept this, IRS will file against me and put me in jail. When I asked them to send me a document for this, they threatened me to kick out from the U.S., and I told them shut up [***] son of the [***]!!!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

The phone number, 631-363-9897, called with a pre-recorded message that "this is your final notice from the IRS, we are filing a lawsuit against you, for more information about your case file, call 347-389-0029."  Neither number is valid for the IRS, this is a direct impersonation and a scam, and they should be punished in court of law.  Reported call to the FTC and Tigta.gov (Treasury Inspector General).  I am guessing that they call from a random phone number (631) and are trying to collect money with another (347) number.
