I did not answer.  Left robo-message to call back immediately to avoid criminal proceedings based on my IRS problems.  Didn't identify their organization or me.  Clear SCAM!

IRS Scam-they do not call. Do not answer unknown calls and do not call them back.

Indian man with a thick accent called to notify me that I was being sued by the IRS.  Asked me to not interrupt and listen to him.  Said I defrauded the IRS during the tax years of 2010 through 2015  and I owed $5800.  Said that in two hours he was going to submit my information to a local office.  I should expect to have all of my possessions seized including my car and if I own a home, all of my bank accounts, etc...gave me his name, John  Davis and his IRS badge number was GS8579 and case number CS93271. I do believe it to be a fraud or a scam for sure.  I asked why I never received any certified letters from the IRS and he said that mailings were sent in November 2015 and February 2016.  He never stated that I needed to pay right away...that was the strange part. This just smells scam all the way from Brooklyn, NY where the call originated from .

SCAM 3 calls in 4 hours.  IRS lawsuit enforcement Foreign scammers.  Unfortunately for their unsaved souls they will probably burn in hell for all the money they stole from the weak and old.

Received 8 phone calls today from this number had to call my phone company to block number

Left two messages saying I had better call today or they would turn me in.  Scam!

This number called my mom 5 Times today ordering her to pay on a fine she oWes the IRS.... Said if she didn't pay immediately she would be arrested.... if this is a scam they're targeting older people and this needs to be stopped..... my mom is terrified that she's gonna go to jail now..... this should be a crime

Calm your Mom down-show her this posts saying it' a scam. The IRS will not call you. They send letters via US Mail. The IRS won't ask you to pay in i-Tunes cards. The IRS will not wish you "good luck as the situation unfolds". Trust yourself and your instincts - do not let a bully intimidate you by threats that are nothing but hot air (and bad breath). This is a SCAM.

Do not answer calls you don't know and never call them back.

Calls originate in INdia and Pakistan.  They spoof local numbers.  Ignore and block the calls.  Total scam.

received a voicemail saying they were from some company in assistance with the IRS and if i did not call them right away the warrant for my arrest would be issued tonight. complete scam

Left message on answering machine. Stated they were the criminal investigation department IRS Washington DC Court House and to return the call or and or a warrant for my arrest would be issued this evening. BIG SCAM!!!
