Same time calling every night at 8 o' clock. So annoying

it seems that if you are a member of Linkedin this no#347-349-4769 calls you it  shows up as Bass ESQ

no message.

First time call from this # kept saying Hello, Hello anyone one there to answer...  Just another OF THE MANY TELE-A-FOOLS that are trying to scam people.  I never answer ANY CALLS THAT I DO NOT know so these IDIOTS are wasting their time.

It seems that those that are getting "Bass Esq" on their caller ID are getting calls from Portfolio Recovery.  I've gotten a significant number of calls from various numbers that identify as either Portfolio Recovery or Bass Esq.  From some other sites (including 800notes), they're a slimy outfit trying to collect on debts well past the statutes of limitations or debts that have been paid off.  They demand your personal information but are reluctant to provide any details of the alleged debt.  They've been sued, supposedly, over 1,000 times for fraud and abuse, and have lost the great majority of those cases.  They just change phone numbers.  Best solution?  Contact your state's Attorney General Consumer Affairs Division and file a complaint.

I have an unlisted phone number, and have never even hooked up a phone to this line, so it's never been given out to anyone - ever.  Comes up on caller ID as Bass Esq.

Caller ID read BASS ESQ. Said hello several times, woman claims there is a 5% rebate that NYSEG is giving out as an "entitlement" ( I love how they throw that word into it) and and that I can get rid of the merchant function charge off my bill with them, all I have to do it give them my NYSEG  account info and set up an account with them. Total scam. ESCO merchants do not spam you, you call them.

Answered the call with the id of "BASS ESQ". Said hello several times before an answer. The man asked if I was the one in the household that pays the "National Authorized Electric Bill". I said I was not I have no idea what that is. He then asked if anyone was around in the household that pays this "bill". I said there was not again. He said thank you and hung up. Sick of these calls.

Call from this number, claiming to be Regina Gatewood from Residents Energy about Government Energy Reimbursement.  Advised I would have my spouse who is attorney give her a call, because I didn't understand all this. Totally Bogus.

I'm a PA resident and got this call from BASS ESQ.  Called back and got Resident's Energy.  Waiting til they call back to tell them "no thank you" in several different ways.

I was called and did not answer a few times and operator just said Hello, Hello...and hung up - so unprofessional customer service.
I made some online investigation and found out NYSEG  is another company offering lower electricity price. NYSEG is found at http://www.nysegsolutions.com   and they have an affiliate energetix.net for some regions.
A few month ago I was called by majorenergy.com and accepted the lower rate of electricity for 6 cent / KW.
The problem is the service of local electricity co (which includes billing, distribution and maintenance) is most of the part of my electricity bill, 2/3 of the bill, and 1/3 only the real electricity price. The problem is majorenergy are crooks! In first 3 months they raised my price from 6c/kw I had before to 9c, to11c then to 16c, although I signed a contract that said they will not raise the price. I called them and they put it back to 6c/kw for 1/2 year... I am still not sure if I am better comparing to charges of the local CO, although I remember the charges became higher and higher before I answered the majorenergy offer. I can come back to my local co anytime, just calling them I am not sure, I am not recommending any of them !

Everyday I received a telephone call from this number347-394-4769 caller ID prompt BASS ESQ announced call from Resident Energy  usually when I answered the caller is silent answered today 7/2514 ANSWERED TODAY July 24th   caller asked if I my electric supplier was Met Ed and if I  wanted to lowered my electric bill for one year, and did I get the info in the mail I asked for some info then asked if I could get a hold of my electric bill I said. Asked when would it be a good time to call back, I said Monday waiting for a call back.
