phone call made caller id said Bob Brown. Asked for husband. Son told them he wasn't there. asked where he was.

I work at a business, this number showed up asked for an associate of a co-worker??  How'd they get this number for him??

This phone number keeps showing up on my caller ID on my cell phone about 6 times a day. They never leave a message so I decided to look up the phone number online. The number shows up as a cell phone carrier from someone in New York. I'm not sure how they got my cell phone number since I never give that out since it's used for work.

I reporeted them. They kept calling and I told them to stop over and over. Then I threatened to call the police. We will see.

calls over and over. asking for wife. I disguisged my voice and said you have the wrong number and that [***] hung up on me. FBI has warnings also out for people saying they missed "jury duty" and ask all kinds of info; http://kansas.com/news/updates/story/162730.html

i let my machine get it because if i do not know the number i do not answer. all they say on the machine is my name or hello and no one i know says that on my machine. they do not say they are the machine. they come up as j. larson on my caller id.

they keep calling but never leave a message. The calls are even in the late evening hours

This (347) 404-5862 number is from TOTAL Visa card. It comes up on my caller ID as 1(111)111-1111 These people are rude, they call as early as 8 o'clock am, and as late as 7 o'clock pm. Although, more importantly---I don't have their card!! I never subscribed to it, activated it. I have no idea how they received my residential telephone number as it is unlisted. I guess my question is, are they not required to take you off their solicitation list, if you've requested they do as such? And, if so where or to whom would I file a complaint?

These folks are TOTAL Visa Card.  Someone gave our business cell phone number. We have continuously Told them the individual dose not own this number.  For the last two weeks, they have called at least 3 to 5 times a day.  Today, we asked to speak to the supervisor.  He insured the number would be deleted.  At 5 PM this evening, guess what?  Yes, it was them!  If I get a call today, I'm calling an attorney!!!!!!!!!!!!

they have called numerous times and they have several phone #'s they call from.  when I answer..no one is there..

they call over and over. first it was texas calls, then Michigan calls now New York calls. do to solicitation of things i ask the kids not to answer. Well if they call and call and not leave a message it cannot be to important.
When real total card calls they say "hi this is total card" etc etc etc.. and are usually pretty pleasent.
number one don't answer your phone. They don't switch collection agencies that fast and all over the united states?? please!! does not happen.
Most are scammers that have some of your info...
telling them off today!!!!!

Just Hang-ups. Never anyone there, even when I answer they hang up

How do you get these people to stop calling?!?!?!

Pay your bills and they wont call

Fax them a letter stating that they are not allowed to call you any further, and if the fail to liste, you will report them as violating the fair credit collections act.  Research this act online

Well yes that would be the thing to do "IF I HAD THEIR D$*M CARD!" But I don't! I have NO kind of credit card!!
