claim to be irs. reporting that i was under investigation for tax fraud

This guy with East Indian accent could not even pronounce my name. Said he was with the IRS. We all know the IRS doesn't call people on the phone.

I am being sued by the IRS and should call back immediately.

Don't bother---the REAL IRS mails letters if there is a problem.

Called number back and told them they were pulling a scam and i would report them and they hung up

Said investigater Daniel Smith with IRS was looking for me for tax fraud. Middle eastern accent. Number was from NY

I just received a call on my cell with an automated message saying the irs has filed charges against me for falsely paying my taxes and gave me this number to call. An indian man answered and when i began to ask questions he told me he was trying to contact a different person and to disregard the call. I have also gotten phone calls that if i dont call within five minutes with a credit card my student loan would be cancelled, when I dont have a student loan.

Caller claims to be Officer Steven (couldn't catch last name) from IRS left message that there was a Federal complaint in a legal case against me.  Asked me to call 347-418-0430 which appeared on my caller ID as a NY number.

 june 17,2015 , just got a call from 347-418-0430:  claiming they were the irs,stating they were filing a lawsuit against me.I knew it was a fraud, told them i knew and they have been reported. had a foreign accent, they hung up on me.

June 17, 2015, had an automated message stating they were from the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me.  Not falling for it. I have blocked the number.  THE IRS DOES NOT CALL YOU go bother someone else. 1-347-418-0430 take a hike.  Have a nice day.

Just received phone call from these people.    It said unavailable and unknown number.  Left a message stating that it was the irs and that they were about to file on me for tax fraud and that I needed to call back.     I recognized the phone number to be that of one that I had called me a couple of weeks ago which I had blocked.  They're really sneaky
I too wonder how these people get away with this.      Previously when they called me it was an Indian or middle eastern accent on the other end.....I politely told them that I would contact the irs myself and to please stop calling me.  He called back again and I sta Ted the same thing and I hung up abruptly.   He proceeded to call me back around 20 times in 17 minutes.      He left nasty sexual messages when my answering machine picked up. I called my locale police station and they stated that there was nothing they could do about it.
I'm saying that they  stated rape,sodomy and just vile language.
I don't understand what these people are trying to find out or what their goals actually are. It just seems like our government or SOMEONE could do something about it

I just had the same experience Teresa and they said some pretty explicit sexual things at which point i hung up

206-866-9150 and 347-418-0430.  Both numbers referenced IRS problems, call immediately or have attorney call.

It's the same number every time I blocked it and am going to report it to the better buisness bureau hopefully something will follow it.

I'm sick of getting spam and phishing  calls, why can't our government do something about it? I told them they could send the f**k**g national guard for all I care, they aren't getting one red cent from me. He got really nasty, extremely vile and hung up on me.

These idiots  called 7am they refused to state who they were then responded he was my boyfriend.  I informed him the call was being recorded and the caller hung up. I block the call but I hate they know my name and have my phone number

Said his name was Steve Martin and he was from the IRS. Told him I never liked his movies, I was from the immigration office and I was coming after him. He hung up.
