Has anyone got any idea about this? Same pattern as many of these spammers, telemarketers and collection agencies. Lots of calls, no message ever left. I've been seeing this number on caller ID for the last few days. Naturally, whoever it is will never get to talk to me. I won't even hear it ring.

Got 2 hang ups today from this number in NY. Just another scam.

This number has been calling my phone for 2 weeks and I refused to answer it they would never leave a message today I answered it and they told me my add in the yellow pages was up for renewal and I owed 599.95 from last year I told them I ran the free yellow pages and they hung up!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stop calling!!!! I ran to get the phone, slipped and fell - now I am in a walking cast!!!!

I got a call from them too, they are full scam. Shame on them. They said I owed them 2 years of Yellow Pages for $500, I said I am a Dr and I never put an ad on Yellow Pages, I asked for invoice they hung up, they are full scam assh... company in USA, shame on them when we have men and women fighting overseas for freedom and they die for us and then you have people like this abusing the system, we should ship them in the front lines and let them sell Yellow Pages to terrorist, shame on them.......

This company (caller i.d. just says NY, NY) has been calling our small, family-owned business several times a day for weeks!  I finally answered it today and it was the same story as above posting of URWORSTNIGHTMARE, stating that I owed $599.00 for the past two years for an internet yellowpage listing since my 'free trial period' was up.  I asked them who from my company authorized the "free trial", but she couldn't give me a name.  It is just my husband and I that work here, and I am the one that handles all such inquiries.  She directed me to some ridicules website of theirs, www.yellowpagesonline.net and showed me our business's free listing (extremely generic), telling me it would now be deleted from today forward and she would be sending me an invoice for the past two years.  What?!!!  So while I was on the line with her, I googled "yellowpages online billing scam and so much info came up, I let her have it.  She hung up on me.  lol

They never say anything when we answer.  Eventually they just hang up.  We're trying to run a business and stopping to answer the 5th call from them a day gets to be frustrating.

I've been getting calls from this number for a few days. Today they called me four times. I have not answered the call, not even once. If it's what you folks say it is (Yellow Pages) I know I have nothing to worry about as I have free ad space as well. Just don't answer it. They do eventually stop calling.

Good for you!! I also took a call from this number today after it's been calling 4 to 5 times a day for three days now. It was a woman and I did NOT state the name of my company when I answered. I think she stated the "company" she worked for, but I couldn't understand her. I had already looked here to see everyone's messages before I actually answered this call. As soon as I heard something about arrears on a Yellow Pages ad I calmly stated to her that we have no Yellow Pages ad. *I do have one in my local book, however because of their discrepancy, it's free for one year.* She stated that she has it showing that I have a Yellow Pages ad and that if I do not pay what was owed it would be yanked. I calmly stated to her again that we do not have an ad there, never have and that I knew this because I was the sole operator and decision maker for this company (single member own/op) and to remove me from her list. I had to tell her this twice of course, but these scammers never give up. She made a prompt "hmmph" sound and hung up on me.

If you get calls from this number after reading this, try answering the call and get as much information from them as you can. If not, MAKE THEM hang up on you. Good luck!!

2x each day for the last 3 days.  I pick up, no one says anything, after a few seconds the call is disconnected.

I've read what others have written about this number and I'm glad that some got enough info from these creeps to know it's Yellow Pages.  They call me at least once a day..sometimes as many as 3 times a day for the last couple of weeks.  They wait for me to say hello and then they wait a moment and hang up.  Once I tried calling back but was told their mailbox is full.
It looks like most of the people that have commented are being harassed at their business.  This is my residential number and I never had, or needed to be listed in the Yellow Pages.  I think the people that had the number before I got it in Feb of this year are the people they are looking for because I've gotten other calls for this business.  I just want it to stop but will probably have to get my number changed.

Caller today called and asked in the SLOWEST voice ever, if she could speak to the office manager for our company.  I said "not available, can I take a message" (it's me, but they never asked for me by name, so I never offered myself as the person).  She then proceeded to ask me who the Office Manager was and if they had a direct line... I hung up on her at this point.  If you don't know who you are calling for, you have NO BUSINESS calling and asking for a specific titled person at a business.  When you call and ask for the OWNER OR MANAGER, you will NEVER get through to them with me.  I know the scams, and I appreciate everyone on here who has posted regarding this new one.  I'll definitely let them know that they are POS scam-artists and I'll be reporting them to the FTC, FCC, BBB, and Attorney General when they call back again, because I'm certain they will.  We have NEVER had a free trial listing for ANY yellowpages - I only deal with Paid for Ads via our local yellow pages, and Adwords on Google.

I am so tired of these people calling. So today I said wow. They told me my past due bill? (Which is total [***] I have never had ad that i didn't pay for up front) It must be paid immediately because it's over $500. I said really..? Then I told her there was no one here that could do that. Then they wanted to know when someone would be in that could and I said can you call back in about 6 weeks. I might be able to have an answer. of course they said yes who do I ask for. I said you can talk to anyone that answers the phone. have a nice day. I really don't have time to be wasting with these people.
