SCAM....  robo call at first with phone ID says "wpi, group, inc"  ,  if you pickup, then the person comes on and says "calling about your computer"...    FAKE  VIRUS report trying to get you to open windows remote access so they can  continue the scan,  steal your information and infect your windows computer.

This is the 2nd time I have received this call... I assumed it was a scam

I keep receiving fax calls from this number.

No caller id so I did not answer.  Further, I have blocked the number so I'm not bothered again.

Calling to fix my computer. BS. No one just randomly calls to fix my computer

Man with an Indian accent called on my cell and told me I had a problem with my computer. So laughable and like he knows where my computer is. They are scam artists and I told him I was going to report him to the FCC. What they do is try and take remote access to your computer by telling you that you have a problem with your computer. GIVE YOU A VIRUS, and then tell you the service they are providing will cost you a fee (like $250) and ask for a credit card #. They are slimy thieves and should be reported. This happened to my friend and her computer has never been the same and she had to call the bank to try and get her money back.

An Indian man named Sam said he was with Allied Computer, that they were a vendor for Microsoft; someone was trying to break into my computer. I told Sam that I didn't own a computer. He asked if I was Cynthia, then said he had the wrong number.

Indian sounding man said my dell laptop has a virus, asked which of the 4 I own was an issue, called him a moron for not knowing, the moron got confused and hung up, good reason to keep old laptops.  Whatta Ta-Ra-ra-gundia
