The IRS has to send you a bill before contacting you!  Tell them you are reporting them and the police have been notified.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

OK... so let me tell you about these guys! They called from 347-501-7188 and 518-795-9424. The first time they called I told them that the person they were calling for did not live here. The second time they called, I asked for their Government Badge ID number, since, you know, they are from the IRS. He called me a "fu**er. I said, "Excuse me???" He said, "Yeah, you heard me. fu**er! You sound hot! Send me some nudes!" I asked to speak to his manager and he said that he was his manager. I hung up. Then I got mad. I posted the numbers on ever social media account that I have and I began calling them incessantly. I had my friends call them incessantly. I filled up their vm boxes. I call and play music as loud as I can. I call over and over and over and over. And having my friends do the same. They finally got rid of the 518-795-9424 number, but the other is still active. They were calling me back and saying vile things. But, they made one mistake... they accidentally called me from their India phone number: 91-11-919727175278. So, today, I just kept calling all of the numbers over and over and over. They were BEGGING me to stop. "Ma'am why are you doing this? It's not funny anymore." "Because you are pretending to be the IRS and are scamming thousands of American people out of their hard earned money. You are a POS and deserve it. I am going to keep calling you and calling you and calling you like you do to thousands of others." "They deserve it if they are stupid enough to fall for it!" "And you deserve what I am doing. Calling you over and over and over. " Finally, they called me from another spoofed phone number: this one is an actual person's phone number (yeah... apparently they can do that!) This guy tried to play on my sympathy. "Ma'am, I am 18 years old. I live in India. I do this because I have no other options. This is the only way that I can make my money." So, I said, "Fine. Let's make a deal. Tell me how your scam works and don't ever call my phone again, and I will leave you alone" Sooooo... here it goes... (Please note: I am paraphrasing and it was really hard to understand him at times, so this is just the gyst of what he said: According to the guy that they had call me (you know, they guy that is supposed to make me see them as humans working for a living and not scum scamming hard working Americans)- here is how their process works: they buy phone numbers and addresses from the cable companies (Verizon, ATT ect), they have a spoofed irs website and they have access to very real looking federal warrants. So what they do is call people and claim to be the IRS. They say that you owe $9500 (or whatever) and if you don't pay, they will sue you and issue a warrant for your arrest. When people ask for proof, they mail, fax or email their fake documentation. They then ask for the money to be sent wirelessly through a chase account. Now, here is where it gets interesting. They also have loan companies (separate from the fake IRS), when a person says that they can't come up with the money, the fake IRS agent points them to their fake Payday loan website. So now they have your bank information.

POS is the perfect name for them. They left a message on our voicemail-we could barely understand anything other than first name of my daughter, and IRS. I read your post, and the next time he called, I answered. I probably annoyed him (oh what a shame) because I could not understand him, and kept asking him to repeat himself. When he said he was calling from IRS, I replied "Oh really?" then, he got foul! The number he called from was 347-501-7188.

Received a message today from 347-501-7188 saying they were the IRS  tax & audit department and they have a loss & compliant warrant for me & this address. He said his name was Brian, I could not understand his last name as he had a heavy accent. Thank God for  these web sites. Even though I know it could not be true because I have not worked due to a lay off & my taxes were paid. I feel like really giving it to them for getting me upset. I am going to report this to the IRS.

Brian Connor Fake IRS agent called & left this message on my voice mail.  Their has been a Loss Complaint filed against me & my address is under Federal Investigation.  I called him back and told him the IRS always contacts by mail first & that he was a fraud and to never call me again. He said he was going forward with this issue. I told him good luck with that because you are going to go to jail very soon for impersonating a Federal Agency of the USA. He hung up on me. It has hit the local newspapers so the public is now aware.

got a email from someone names Eric Turner.  Reads:  There is an Arrest warrant issued on your name.  So Give us a call as soon as possible. Before the court case is file in order to get a Resolution befor you get in any trouble at your home or job.

I got that same email Jennifer and I looked up the name at first and it was a real attorney in Iowa. But I knew I did nothing wrong but still got shaken up because I do have a daughter and what if someone used my name to do something. So then I googled the number and this came up. I'm going to call them back and see what they say

I actually got an email from them with this number to call (and a link to click)  The email says that there is an arrest warrant for me to click the link to read it. Then to call that number to pay my fines before it's too late.  Trust me, squeaky clean me has no arrest warrant. ha!

I just got an email from this number and a person by the name of Victor Wallace. The email said that there is a arrest warrant for me and that I need to contact him immediately. I know something was up so I googled the name and number and this is what came up. It is just sad that people like that can just contact you like this.

I received a message....I was suspicious but called back.  The line was horrible - tons of static.  More a suspicious.   Got a person that did not speak good English.  Even more suspicious and becoming more positive that this is a  scam.  She asked my name and transferred me (although she told me she was looking up my info).  I could hear the transfer of the line however.  "Eric Turner" was on the line!  I thought it was an odd name for someone that could barely speak English!  I told them that they could not work for the Atty Gen of NY b/c they would be closed by now!!  Idiots!  What a moron!!  I told him I would call the FBI - have a friend there - and he said he would call the FBI.  I said, "Nope!  I will call - I know yours will be a fake call!"  He started backing out then.  I raised my voice to him and gave him a piece of my mind and how I am sick of scammers like them.  He ended up hanging up!

i got the same message as most people did from Victor Wallace it was from 347-501-7188. It said that there was an arrest warrant out for me and that I need to call him immediately. There was 2 more names on the email, Shawn Williams and Eric Marshall.

They sent me an email with an attachment of an arrest warrant telling me if I didn't pay i would be arrrested

Forward the e-mail to your ISP's Postmaster and let them know this individual is using the internet to commit a crime.
