Bria, I just received a call from this number.  It sounds like and smells like a scam to me.  The call started with a pre-recorded message about an FBI report that home breakins are on the rise and that, in return for agreeing to have a sign placed on my lawn, I would receive a free alarm system.  All I needed to do was press 1 to speak to a customer service agent or press 9 to be placed on their Do Not Call list.  I hung up immediately.  I am speculating that:

1. The alarm system is cheap (possibly from a Radio Shack or other electronics store) and you have to install it yourself, and there's no monitoring service.  Nobody gives away a quality alarm service for free without some strings attached.
2. By pressing 9 on your keypad, you've confirmed the phone number is active and might be sold on a list to other telemarketers.
3. The sign reads as follows: I AM A FOOL.  I ALLOWED MYSELF TO BE SCAMMED!  (LOL)

If you really want a quality alarm system, do a Google search for a reputable security alarm service in your area.

Received a call from this number; Caller ID read "Customer Care."  Did not answer but checked voicemail.  They hung up without leaving a message.

Oh jeez, I thought I was so savvy and always call back to see if I can be put on their do-not-call list, but I bet you are right that it just makes them aware that it is an active number....

Yes, they hung up after I answered. I feel like calling back the number and complaining, but I don't want to waste my time or my dime.

Got a call from 1 347 502 2524. Message started with "FBI warns that a house is broken into every __ seconds. If you will allow us to place a sign in your yard, we'll give you a security system for free... I hate these calls.

Get calls multiple times a day even though I don't pick up they don't give up!

Tape. FBI etc. Reported to DNC — not that those [***] spending taxpayer money (read: yours and mine) lift a finger about any of this.

2 missed calls in 2 days, caller id stated Customer Care. Decided to call # back, and recorded message says if you want to be removed from list press 1... so I did, lets see if that works :/
Reading previous comments, I had received calls from them before ("FBI warns...") and I filed a report with the Do Not Call Registry... guess they're using a different # now.

SCAM about Home Security System absolutely FREE.  Name of company never given. Call back and number is Not Available.

Caller ID says "Fraudulent Call".  I just don't answer any caller I don't know.  Sure gets tiresome.  Too bad our protective agencies are so useless.

I got a call from this number today.  Somebody must have hacked their caller ID because it came through as "Fraudulent Call".  Needless to say I didn't answer!

Received a call a few minutes ago. Calelr ID showed "Fraudulent Call", I answered but the other end hung up when I did.

I get multiple calls from this company every week -- and I'm on the Do Not Call list!  They always start out with "The FBI...".  I can't find a way to stop the calls.  They come in the morning, afternoon, evening, and even on week-ends.

THey want to get into your home to rob you blind.  Be wart

Have been getting calls from this number lately, they never leave a message.  My caller ID states" FRAUDULENT CALL" I wish all bogus calls were also IDed the same.

Just received a call from this #. No message was left. But the called ID read "Fraudlent Call". LOL GREAT label for these calls. Wonder who did that.:-)

Got a call from this number with "Fraudulent Call".  According to the police department in Surprise AZ this is put on by the phone company while they go about disconnecting the number.  The number has been disconnected but is part of hundreds of 347 area code numbers used by scammers of all kinds from all over the world.
