Pick up, caller stays on line and says nothing

Credit card scam number

same as above, I picked up the phone and the caller says nothing.

Just received call, same no response.

called many times, but nothing said if picking up, no message either if answering machine.

No message left. Just hung up.

Ditto .. just got a call and no one responded.  The call was dropped after 11 seconds.

No caller ID name, just the number... picked up and nobody there.

Unsolicited call from NY Police seeking money.  This appears to be a scam.  I do not know if this is really from the police or not. But the fact is that the police make decent pay, with terrific benefits and pensions.   The police are supposed to be here to protect the law abiding taxpaying citizens not to shake us down for money..There are thousands of worthy causes to contribute to, that are a much higher priority. Frankly, if this is from the police this should be illegal.  Having police ask us for contributions presents itself with a huge conflict of interests.

same deal.  phone rings.  no one says anything altho i can hear breathing on other end.  morons.

NY police or any police for that matter do not ever call soliciting donations of any kind. Ever. If you are asked from any telephone number for a donation, advise them " you have my name and telephone number, that means you have my address. Please send me donation request to my address in writing." They hang up real quick

Said he was from the Police Widow's & Orphan Fund.  Asked if I still lived at my address.  I said I moved and when he started talking again, I hung up.  Don't give them any of your information.

Same thing the phone rings, no one says anything, and hangs up.  Also, on message machine.  Recently I get this call alot.

My mother was expecting a phone call from someone she didn't know she  got a call from this number thinking it was the call she was waiting for but she missed it so she called it back.

The phone didn't ring it went straight to voicemail and it was a woman's voice and it said "please help me there are dead people all around me, the dead arerising, help me. I only have two days of food left and in trapped the dead are all around me"

Scary.

Receiving lot os this kind of calls lately, no answer or some gibberish.

Just called, no message. Now blocked.

Called, left no message. Now blocked.

Just got call from above #, picked up, person hung up.  I called back, got recorded: we're sorry your call could not go thru; pls try again.  Tried again, same deal.  I hope whoever this scam lowlife is he falls into an open manhole.

No Met area enforcement agency can legally make such a call.  If U get one, it's always a scam.  If you do, ask what precinct they are hooked up with if the lowlife actually speaks.

This [***] calls several times a week,nobody on the phone?I just let it go to voice mail,but there is never any message.
