Someone calling himself "Joe" or "Joel" "Alexander" has been calling a client of mine and accusing him of fraud.  When I called, I was hung up on several times, with "Joe" stating "Lawyers are liars and I don't deal with liars."

RECEIVED SAME CALL CLAIMING FRAUD, I WORKED IN CREDIT CARD FRAUD FOR 15 YEARS, THERE'S NO WAY I WOULD EVER COMMIT IT AND THE FACT I'M BEING ACCUSED IS CRAZY. WHEN I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK THERE WAS NO ANSWER

These are scam calls from India.  Do not pay anything. If you give them a cent they will demand more.  The government can't stop these scammers because they call from India.  They will stop using this number and go to the next one soon, but always use the same script.  Do not be scammed, do not argue with them.  Just tell them you know its a scam or just don't answer your phone.

I recieved several calls to my employer from India representatives calling me names telling me to shut up and pay on a debt collection

I got 4 calls in a row  at work from a guy sounding like he was from India but he said his name was Steve Jackson saying something about fraud but I haven't frauded anyone and would never. I told him to give his number and I would call him back because I was in a patient's room. I dont understand how are they are getting our work numbers.

I am receiving calls from a "Steve Jackson" with a heavy foreign accent telling me they have pressed 3 charges for fraud. He has my cell and work phone numbers plus the last 4 of my SS#! I know that financial matters are civil, not criminal, so I know this is a bogus claim on their part. Just wanted to give a heads up. Don't give these people a dime.

This number just called me! So irritated!!! There has to be something to stop these people!!! They are the scum of the earth and I would do anything to make them suffer!!!!!

When they call me, I call them back...over..and over...and over... I get them so pissed off. Literally calling them 50 times in a row and that specific number stops calling.

Received this call while at work from a Phillip Brown from a law firm he wanted to connect to his superior not supervisor but superior. I told him I was at work and would call him when I got home. While at home I call this number and surprise, surprise Mr. Brown was on another case and Mr. Donald Lawson could help me. I told him no that I had spoken earlier with Mr. Brown who had my information and would only speak with him. He immediately got angry and said he would  be forwarding my case to court and hung up on me.  Interesting he would not tell me what fraud I had commited.

Man Today July 8th I get a call from this number on my work extention from a Steve Jackson, I called them back several times and finally someone else picks up the phone and states that their 3 federal warrants out for me, and I need to pay them their money. I was like I don't owe you money, and this fool hangs up on me, then I call back wanting to get more information about his company, he told me tomorrow the police will be at my job, and my home and I fight it in court, and hung up on me again. I called again, he said he was done taking my calls, then I said I know that any fiscal litigation is civil so if you want to waste the courts time over 200 dollars then have fun with that. He hung up again. Somehting needs to be done about these so called companies this is my first call, and I am trying to make it my last.

These people are idiots. Claiming to be FBI. All of us know the FBI wouldn't be involved in a debt. How do they get our work numbers and cell numbers? I don't answer the phone. Don't give them the time of day. It's just a waste of air. Always remember this, if you do owe a pay-day loan they company will call you direct or send you a letter in the mail. You would never get a call from India. These people call from all different numbers on a daily basis. Why can't we put them away? They need to be put on a island with no food or transportation.

I got this call a few months back, and they started again today but using a blocked number. I don't answer and they call back over and over then leave a message. Today alone I have gotten 10+ calls from this "Steve Jackson" isn't there something we can do?

Looking for information on "Steve Jackson" calling about a debt....came from a different phone number than this though. Same thing, I owe money, they are going to call my superior, if I don't contact them immediately there is nothing I can do as the weight of this comes down upon my head (or some such nonsence)....such a strong accent I can hardly make out their veiled threats! The last time I received these calls I demanded that they send me this information in writing and cease calling my workplace.
