Caller identified himself as Jacob Parker of the internal revenur service said  $2903.00 was owed the IRS that within 5 hours there would be an arrest the police would come to take to jail and then go before the court. This call was recieved at 10 AM

Called stating they were the IRS that my property would be seized and an officer would be buy to make an arrest.

Received a recording 3 times in a row stating they were from the irs and needed me to call back before they take legal action. She stated her name was Lauren Matthews

Total scam.  Originates in either India or Pakistan.   Block and ignore.   DO NOT RETURN THE CALL!

IRS does not initiate contacts by phone.  US mail only.   IRS does not file lawsuits.   Court action, if any is handled by the DOJ and all parties are entitled to legal assistance if it is a criminal matter.  But--tax disputes are for the most part civil matters.  90% of all IRS tax disputes are settled administratively.  IRS has absolutely no authority to call on local law enforcement for anything. Local law is never involved in IRS tax disputes. IRS does not threaten to involve local law enforcement or to arrest you for nonpayment of federal taxes.  IRS has no powers of arrest.    If LE is necessary, US Marshals do the job.  IRS does not cold call anyone and demand immediate payment of  money.  IRS does not ask for financial information over the phone.   IRS does not accept Green card money paks for payment in any case.  No one is prosecuted for ordinary tax disputes. IRS has absolutely no authority over anyone's professional license. Professional licensing is handled by state governments.  Yes, levies on property to satisfy an existing tax obligation do occur, but only after a very long period of negotiation. And yes, liens are placed on individuals but  usually after a lot of negotiation and a failure to reach a settlement.    All determinations of tax liability are subject to appeals.  All  contacts by the IRS are initiated by US mail.

I just received the same phone call from a Lauren Matthews. Left me a voicemail. The voice was robotic. I will not call this number back since its reported as spam.

by an electronic voice, it told me to not ignore this call, the name was Jacob Parker. Is there anyone this person or at least the number can be reported to? It can be traced back to NY, my ID identified it as a New York NY number.

This is a call from an imposter who claims to be an IRS agent, I think this number should be given to proper authorities. I haven't worked in 3 yrs so I don't know what exactly they think they were gonna get from me.. My husband works and we file our taxes every yr like good little Americans do so... Good luck idiots.

And now I just received a call from the same number, robotic/electronic voice, Lauren Mathews is the name used this time...

Calked him back identified himself as irs told him theres n irs in nj he told me ic ould wait fir him to f*** me. Unbelievable block

I received a call from this number; did not answer the phone.  The computer-voice message stated it was the Internal Revenue Service and not to ignore the call.

I called them back so many times they blocked me. I had fun

Called me said it was IRS. I said your the reason we bomb your country. They have foul mouths. I've called them back so much they blocked my number. I won.

Received call From Lauren Matthews from IRS, I said to send a certified letter, they wanted address, I hung up, they called 3x saying I would be arrested.

Called, have forwarded the number to the proper authorities.

I have received the same call twice.   One yesterday and one at 5:30 this morning. I wish there was a way to stop these people.
