Fake IRS call. The IRS never calls, they send mail.

Received computer generated Call saying iRS was filing a lawsuit against me. No previous communication with IRS. IRS always does business by mail.

got call today (04-18-16) an obvious recording claimed a law suit was being filed against me and I should return a call to them (missed the initial statements from the caller & failed to get call back number). call back to 347-560-5667 busy signal (several attempts). call was to my cell; only one person has been given that number.

Fake IRS call. Says I'm going to be sued by the IRS. Makes me furious that some people will fall for this. I hope somehow the people responsible for this scam get in trouble!

Got a message from this number saying IRS was going to file a lawsuit against me. I tried calling several times and never got any information. Its obvious that this was not the IRS. The people doing this should be prosecuted for fraud/identity theft.

I just got the robo-call from this number.  It's an IRS scam for sure.
I reversed the number and found it belongs to Broadview Networks in New York.  I contacted Broadview Networks via chat and called them on the phone.  I told them the number was being used for an IRS scam and that this must be a violation of their "terms of service".

They refused to do anything about this.  They say I have to lodge a complaint with my carrier.

Got an automated message from this number saying it was the IRS and this was the final notice on a lawsuit against me. I have not received anything from the IRS previously including mail so I am assuming this is fake.

I got the same call, same message.  So annoying. Caller ID says New York, NY.

Looks like it is the same as the others that got a call from this number.  They called my cell phone and had left a voice mail about it being the final notice and the IRS is going to sue me and to call them back.   Did not call them back and not sure how they would have gotten my cell number anyway.  Sounds like a scam to me and my phone is on the do not call list.

Got a call to my cell phone saying that the IRS was going to sue me. We have never had the IRS even try to get a hold of us. When I looked the number up I found out it was a scam! Thank you for having this website up so we can find out the truth! This could truly hurt somebody severely!

Same stupid message about IRS.  My kids heard the message as I was laughing.  I explained to them that sadly, some people will fall for this scam.  I then explained what a scam is.  So thank you for giving me an opportunity to educate my children on some of the evil in this world.
