Caller ID says Cell Phone NY. My voice mail picked up a partial robo-call message: "Press 1 to receive your medical alert device, press 2 to decline." Yeah! Right! ... number is now blocked

Message left about a personal medic alert that was "ready to ship" because I had "already been referred by a friend." Uh huh. Blocked.

Leave a message on my answer machine "Free personal medical alert system" for Seniors, ..." Blocked it.

The creepy thing is: not 20 minutes after I was on the phone talking to someone about arthritis (not that either of us had it - we just mentioned it and the new treatments for it), this call came in and left a vm about a medical alert device.  Most other spam is credit card billing/protection type - never medical.  It's hard not to be paranoid when the timing is just too perfect. ;)

Robo call when machine kicked in caller hung up. It is still very annoying! Many call complaints against this tele. # in new york.

Call from outfit claiming to provide medical alert material.  When I asked the name of the company the caller represented, she hung up.  PROBABLE SCAM

I did not recognize the phone number. Caller ID showed it as "New York".  I did not answer the phone. The caller did not leave a message. I put the phone number in my reject list.

Caller ID showed "Cell phone Ky" but the area code is not Kentucky. Robo-message about free medical alert something was being left on my answering machine - I picked up and hung up.

Caller ID showed 347-567-5927.  All calls are answered by the answering machine.  Partial robo call message left stated "You were referred by a friend or family member.  We have a system waiting to be shipped out to you.  Press 1 now to receive your personal medical alert system, press 9 to opt out.

Id : Saint Albans, Vt.  # number not in VT.  Answering machine message same as above, medical alert.  Did not answer.

Called my cell this afternoon around 2:40p. Didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up. The robo-call left a voicemail about "my medical alert system is ready to be shipped to you..." Deleted the message and blocked the number.

Call came in at 2:56 pm - CID listed as ST ALBANS NY - not VT as shown above by someone else.  Took phone off hook but could hear a very elderly male voice starting a "pitch" - hung up before he could finish.

Same as above - called while I was at work and recorded message about medical alert crap.  The only thing I pushed was to block the number!!!  SCAM!!!

Called my cell just now, and I rejected the call and have now blocked this number.  So sick of the scammers!

Fake # (non-working) - no legit business used phony #s, and no legit business does cold-calling.  Hope they contact some unhinged would-be victim who ends up making these thieves needing their own devices, after he tracks them down & goes off on them.
